Last point he made, those other countries have some form of national healthcare. And their medicine costs less? Hmm... Makes ya wonder, don't it? We pay more for healthcare then those other countries, we pay more for medication, we can still be denied coverage on a whim and the people in those countries are healthier and live longer lives then we do. Maybe this national healthcare thing isn't such a bad idea after all. I'll take longer waits for cheaper and more effective care, hands down.

I believe in a free market and that being said, I should be able to buy pharmaceutical drugs from anywhere I please as long as I have a perscription for that medication from my doctor.

The drug costs are high because there is NO free market on drugs. You can only buy your drugs in the United States. Thus, there is no one to compete with. They can charge whatever they please and we have no choice, unless we choose to die.
