I just don't think she sings very well. This song is in such a low register all you hear is a sort of droning, humming sound. Maybe she would sound better singing a song in a higher register.

I work at a fair these guys play at during it's run, and they're amazing, this woman is the unsung hero of the group. Her voice is straight from heaven, and when she sings Scotland is her name, it never fails, I feel the Scot in my blood run proud and powerful, and my heart melts. Truly a beautiful song, sung like no one else could sing it.
