New Best Buy UK TV Advert - We love what we do

No wonder this failed, An electrical company opening in a saturated market with an advert like this was a dire mistake. It should have pinpointed the failings of its three main rivals (Comet Currys Argos) Staff with no passion about the products they sell or any idea about them. This is the reason Carphone opened up BestBuy... It was all too easy now for the last giant (currys) to spend a few quid training staff, breaking the only goal BestBuy could have won. was never going to work.

It's a shame Best Buy had to close as I frickin' despise the treatment I got in Comet and Curry's they bully you into taking out a warranty, in fact when Curry's were Dixons one employee even said I was crazy to my face.

I never got that from Best Buy :(

@lyris1 This is the main reason the shop failed. In a saturated market the advert should have focused on bad service of other shops, but... we get a bloke dancing and the last five seconds, oh its just another electrical shop and american. Nowhere on the advert does it say where the shops are or why they are different, I live only one mile from one and only now do I know that they existed now they close down this Sunday. The staff have been let down by top boss poor decisions.

The people that work in best buy, pc world, or the apple store are total retards, and as soon as you get a little technical with them they start spouting a load of crap to cover their inadequate knowledge of anything technical.

All they care about is trying to sell you a load of rubbish that you don't need with your initial purchase. The problem is if they had the least bit of intelligence or knowledge they wouldn't be in retail.

FYI that ad was filmed in store and features 4-5 of my colleagues in the final scene. Yes its cringe worthy. But its so bad its good. A fun advert and thats what best buys about people that can give you the best advice whilst making it fun.
