Schwarzkopf admired this artist greatly. Beautifully done, in her own way, and compares favorably with other famous versions. My favourite is that of Lotte Lehmann, live at Town Hall in 1938. Other interesting versions for the male voice are those by Björling, Anders, Kaufmann, Wunderlich, and baritone Schlusnus. Brava!
