I'm Japanese and watch this video on the neutral position. Acient Macedonian territories were Macedonian region of Greece and Bitola of FYROM. It's no doubt that almost all Macedonian culture comes from Greece, but you can't say that FYROM is zero. I must say FYROM emphasizes Macedonia too much despite they only have a little bit. In the acts of the Apostles (chapter 16, verses 11-15 & 17 verses 1-15, Pauls journey to Macedonia) there's a description of Macedonia and we can see the names of its cities Philippoi, Thessaloniki (not Solun), Neapolis, Amphipolis, Appolonia, Beroia all GREEK names. Apostle Paul & Silas also mention the ethnicities that found in Macedonia, Jews, Romans, Greeks. There is no mention of a Macedonian ethnicity separate from the Greek nation, Macedonians are identified as Greeks.

FYROM's population is a mixture of many different ethnic groups. 60% of them are Slavs. There is also a large minority of Albanians (30%) and smaller groups of Serbs, Turks, Greeks and others.
The historic truth is that the Slavs descented into the region not before the 6th century. They don't have any historical cultural or linguistic ties with ancient Macedonia and they would be really foolish if they officialy claimed that they did.
