A guy in a nice deep vee walleye style boat would have been fine. Low sitting bass boats just aren't made for that rough stuff.

Rode in a lot worse,but that was on the coast in a 25' CC that was made for it. There are lakes here inTx where that is fairly common,,it outs white capping and starts rolling,you just have to work the waves and hope the motor does not quit on you.

@hjg82759 How the heck did you destroy 3 Rangers? You have to be drunk and blindfolded to destroy them... And all the guy in the video had to do was just floor it. He would have just skimmed on top of the water. I know, I have a ranger. I was just on Lake Champlain in 6 foot waves and it rode them like they were nothing. Ranger's are one of the best bass boats you can buy.

@davidandalex1 Look, you can be in a low profile bass boat in 4' waves and it'll feel like 6' because you're sitting down almost eye level to them. If you're in legit 6' waves then you'll be eye level with them standing up in the lowest point in your boat. In my 18' salt water boat that's made for the craziest conditions, I'd have to slow down in 4' waves and in 6' or higher you have to go at displacement speed like 10, 15 mph at the most. If it's a following sea then you can go much faster.
