  • You are the best on the net...by far...I love your guitar collection and the way you play.

Is it possible for a lesson on Bluebird? Just need help with the fingering! Cheers and keep rocking....Go Purple Eagles.

  • Hi! This is so great!!! What are the proper voicing for the chords? If you could post that I and probably a whole lot of other folks out there would love it! By the way, your Mother Nature's Son tutorial is fantastic! It's helped me learn how to do it right. Thanks again.

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • awesome! Thanks

  • This is fantastic. Can you provide a lesson for this? Also, nice guitar!!!

  • Goddamn.

I think these lessons are weaning me off tabs. The eyes and ears seem be working better.

  • This is fantastic! Never would have imagined it be tuned down a whole step. That looks like an Everly Brothers acoustic from the 60s? McCartney had one just like it I believe, or very similar. Great job and thank you for posting.

  • @seminole224 My Everly Brothers is from one of the limited edition runs they did around 20 years ago. They did some hand-built ones right when they first opened the Bozeman factory. I got lucky when I found it.

  • perfect right hand rhythm! and perfect picking in chorus, awesome.

  • Great job! I've been playing in "G" I'll try in "A".

  • @northcoast69 Gm....Late at night when the wind is still, I'll come....Fm....flying through your door... Bb, and you'll...Fm....know what love is for....Bb, I'm a bluebird, Ebmaj7 I'm a bluebird, I'm a bluebird, I'm a.....Abmaj7 bluebird yah yah...Ebmaj7...I'm a blue bird I'm a bluebird I'm a...Abmaj7 bluebird yah yah yah, repeat then Cm7 bluebirdddd Bbm7 blueebirddd, oooo Dm7 ooooooo G7, Cm7 Bluebirdddd, Bbm7 Bluebirdd, Dm7 ooooo G7 oooo, Abmaj7 Bluebirddd oooo ooo oo Ebmaj7 back to Gm

  • @OriahLivingston Thanks for the additional info.

  • great job!

  • Real nice

  • Howcome you tuned it down a whole step?? Also where could I get some tabs for this im looking to play it at a wedding. Not tabs but chords...

  • I'm sure Paul tuned down lower to suit his voice. He does that regularly, e.g., he recorded Yesterday tuned down a whole step so he plays in G, but it sounds in F.

You could just play this in Gm7 instead of Am7, but the chord voicings would be different/wrong.

  • yeah its weird how he tunes down when his voice is actually pretty high. but where would I find the chords for this tune? I know there is a paul mccartney book but i dont have it. Anywhere on the net?

  • @privettricker What do u mean yesterday was recorded in G but sounds in F? Isnt G the standard tuning?

  • @masonhi Yesterday was in standard tuning, but he lowered each string down two full steps. The E was down to D, the A down to G and so on. So when he strummed the opening G chord, it sounded like it was in F. In fact, it was in F, but he was playing G.

  • @privettricker So u mean that if u play the F in standard tuning it would sound like the G in yesterday. So u telling me it was in Tuning F?

  • @masonhi If you play Yesterday along with the record, and you're in regular tuning, then you would play it in F (while Paul plays in G). In fact, on the bootleg outtake, Paul says to George right before starting, "It's in G, but it'll be in F for you." George didn't end up in the final mix, of course.

  • @privettricker ok i get it, thx and great vid. hey have u seen the live version of bluebird, it has a cool guitar intro can u play that?
