  • Can't you talk slower? So did you use ctrl + L or Ctrl+ J in the video???

  • OK. so after reading several incorrect websites, i FINALLY figured out how this works. select both ends with the direct select tool. Then use ALT + COMMAND + J to find the average. in the box that opens, choose "Both". then use COMMAND + J to join. In the box that opens, select "Smooth". It will make a nice smooth transition between the two points. I'm so stoked i finally figured this out. I hope this helps!!

  • CTRL L THE CTLR J DONT THIN ALT HELPS

  • do you have to have ps,ill, aftereffects to make animation graphics all together?

  • very good!

  • *drool* I use photoshop all the time and I've never really known anything about Illustrator, but omg *wants*

  • Illustrator is awesome. I think it's very under used and underrated. Photoshop is great for something but for vector work, Illustrator is hands down the best Adobeware.

  • i need halp when i reflect something the original dissapears

  • Did you hit Copy button?

  • dont worry i got it

  • yay

  • Photoshop is not for drawing.

  • Pure Dang!

  • I really want a good program to draw and make awesome drawings. and i was wondering is adobe illustrator really good for making art?

is there anything better but easy to use just like Adobe illustrator ?

  • try Corel Draw

  • nice tip...5stars

  • fuck...mine always says "No Ram Memory" or something like that how can i make it stop?

  • ....buy a bigger RAM memory?

  • lol

  • you dont have to buy a bigger RAM memory, mine said the same thing but that was because i had a lot of apps running, if you close all the apps then its more likely to work, if not then thats when ya buy a bigger RAM memory

  • hw much RAM you got?

  • go CANADA!

  • sd

    uiouioyuoui

  • very niec~~ Thanks^^

  • nice ,, thanks for sharing

  • coolllllll..........

  • what profession is this predominately used in? Web design?

  • Illustrator tends to be used more for print designs due to being vectors and unlimited scaling, but you can create some truely outstanding stuff in Illustrator for practically anything. Do a Google image search for "vector art" and you'll see some stupidly impressive stuff.

  • do u have some basic tutorials for illustrator 10?? its kinda hard for me to start..i tot 8s just as easy as photoshop but its kinda difficult...can u pls help me?? pls pls pls pls...thanks man..kip on rockin...

  • where is the curly tool?? i dont have it.. i use version CS3

  • click and hold on the Line Tool, and you'll see the Spiral tool in there.

  • hax

  • ...craagle?

  • kool tutorial.

    Thanks man. :)

  • i hit cmd L and it does nothing and cmd J tells me i need to select two endpoints

  • Use the Direct Selection tool (white arrow) and "draw" a box around the two points that you need to join... then hit the cmd+L and cmd+J as he said.

  • hes CANADIAN

  • thanks alot for this tutorial; and check out #illustrator on quakenet for a decent community. AI, vectors, prepress, indesign.. web.

  • alternatively, you can download inkscape which is an open source, SVG program

  • "does someone knows where can i download illustrator for free ???"

Don't steal software dude... it means Adobe have to charge more from the people who pay for it legitimately. You can get the free trial from their website or, if you're a student, they do an awesome student discount

  • i just asked

  • well you can get 30 day trials and download it again after a month

  • HigOfBo Adobe don't charge people more cause of legitimate sales. They charge so much for there sofeware due to the fact professional designers use the software. Also cause Adobe are known as greedy little ****ers.

  • lol I dont think I would call them greedy. Adobe makes amazing programs wich are worth every penny.

  • Adobe Dimensions was a stand alone addition to Illustrator, which allowed simple 3d like this. Now it is within Illustrator.
