My dad got on the CFD when I was 5. I practically grew up at station 19 on high st and playing on engine 19. Ive wanted to be a firefighter my whole life and now im 22 living in Columbus getting in shape and studying for my entry tests coming up in a couple months. I've watched all the Columbus firefighter videos, & just watched this one again last night while finishing Opposition to SB 5 e-mails. Today, I was walking down the street checking out a house for rent across from where I work at OSU-East / ED. I looked over, & there was the Firefightin Eights Fire House! Out loud I said "Holy shit, it's the Eights!" How funny! I saw 2 dispatched calls, then told the fireman @ the front door how excited I was to see them! I'm such a dork! Great day!

yea, they call them units theres 1,2, and 3. I've never rode at 15's, and i only know the guys on 2 unit
