oh come on do you wait an alligator to avoid such an easy prey, and its not like if the alligator its going to let the bunny go just because is a cute animal or some shit like that, nature is cruel and so his beings
yea, you got a point there, im just biased on this one cause i have a pet bunny, i cant honestly say i know what id do if someone or something hurt him, it would probably be illegal in most places for sure, i know....the whole food chain thing, but like i said, im biased cause of my bunny
@Roligevind Because one would not expect a cat to go and eat a rabbit. I chuckled one time at my cat carrying a rabbit. My cat was not big enough to strangle the poor thing, it was only a baby, and it looked like a little lioness trying to drag a puffball. It was very cute. Do not worry, the baby bunny survived because we took it away from her and set it free.
Oh my god that is so cruel! You should have gotten a gun and shot that alligator and save the cute, cuddly rabbit. After all a rabbit is worth about seven alligators or 8 1/2 humans. *being satirical

Holy crap, you watched the rabbit, and didn't throw a rock to stop the crocodile or anything????!!!!!!! That's not even funny, even if you couldn't help him, why would you put this on YouTube????? People don't want to watch this, its cruel.
Circle of life, and look at all the comments, i guess everyone saw the title Alligator Eats Rabbit! would be able to guess what they're in for. Besides i think its a rat.
my rabbit swam it the bathtub! there is just one type of rabbit that actually lives on the bank of the swamp and prefers to swim in it,the swamp rabbit!
Okay. Thanks. I myself love all animals but I understand the rules of nature. Even though I like rabbits, out in the wild, they are still on the foodchain like every other creature.
American crocodiles average maximum length is 14ft-16.4 feet which is 2 ft bigger then the gators. Salties are the same. But salties usually exceed that length so American Crocodiles are no Gustave or Thai.
how big did u think this gator was? Since it had a little snack (the rabbit) Im guessing it was in the range of 7-9 ftish. And since u are in the everglades can u explain if there is an abundant amount of alligator foo- i mean wildlife.
Cause if there are bigger prey (crocs are apex predators) no doubt they could grow as big as some crocs here in Australia...but gators also die 2wice as fast (salties 71 avg lifespan. American Gator 30-40 avg)
Yes there is an abundance of wildlife in the Everglades. The biggest alligators don't get much bigger then 17 feet -due to evolution- and thats rare. Also alligators only eat small prey. Crocodiles dont mind attacking large prey & tearing things apart. So gators stay smaller But we do have the American crocodile, which i think if given the right space and protection it could get as big as the salties but they are extremely endangered, so we may never know.
Rabbits swim quite well, actually. I saw a special about rabbits on some nature program once when I was a kid and they showed how cottontails in wetland areas will swim quite a bit to get away from predators. I had a pet rabbit at the time and one day I was swimming at the neighbor's pool and I put her in. She did a lap around the pool I took her out. She definately wasn't too keen about it.
Simonbath- I shot this video in the everglades with my digital camera there was no "camera team" it was dumb luck that the rabbit fell in the water while i was recording. and Csaltbertcs- yes rabbits can swim if they need to.
"elswanso" is right about what happens when you feed wild animals but, get over it, if Fl Fish and Game isnt gonna do anything about it, have fun and be careful
that could have been someone's pet rabbit. oh.. btw.. I was IN florida when I was feeding the alligators... at a putt putt place.. how is that a misdemeanor??
It was a wild rabbit one of the thousands that run free in the Everglades. It IS illegal to feed alligators Because when people feed them they lose there fear of humans and start to associate humans with food. Once That happenes someone near the water may get bitten this makes it "a nuisance alligator" and must be trapped and killed buy a state trapper. Feeding an alligator is just like signing a death warrant on the animal. So don't feed the alligators.
Talk to the minature golf locations in orlando, fl and kiss my thong induced butt crack. I bet that rabbit had a loving brother. There are some messed up things that go on in this country, but how could at least three public minature golf places get away with charging to feed their alligators as an attraction?? I don't see it.
