I always saw them as bisexual. They are soul mates but every once in a while they meet a guy they are really attracted to. Perticus, Uylesses,Antony,Rafe,Marcus, Hercules (prior to when Xena had her own show)Ect. I geuss thats what I get for owning the series...Even Lucy thought so once in a magazine artical...does anyone ele feel this way?
