  • THANK YOU for all of your wonderful videos! You explain so well!

  • So, this woman is a member of the Naturopathic Medical Association? Let's see what 'naturopathic' means...

"Naturopathy or Naturopathic Medicine is a form of alternative medicine based on a belief in vitalism, which posits that a special energy called vital energy or vital force guides bodily processes."

"Naturopathy lacks an adequate scientific basis under the methodology of evidence-based medicine."

"Members of the medical community show a critical or even rejecting view of naturopathy."

    FAIL.

  • I started to fall asleep at 17:00, (coincidentally about 1/2 hour after my last meal!). This is very common for me after a meal, I cut sugar out of diet long ago, and get most of carbohydrates from brown rice. Is it possible that I still get tired after meals because of unhealthy eating habits when I was younger?

  • this is the kinda woman ya chase down to marry

  • this is the information I was looking for for ages. thank you so much for your efforts, it is highly appreciated!!

  • so are "quick oats"refined?---- I mean the oatmeal in the cylinder shaped container w/o added sugar or anything. Are these oats monosacchrides?

  • Is this video a duplicate of part one?

My husband tires easily, & so therefore his attention span isn't what it should be & his memory is lacking & I want my husband to retain as much memory as possible while viewing these videos. We are seeking answers, as he his energy is going down for the count. He came home 2 days ago, exhausted from work & was in need of sleep. This has gotten worse over time, with no answers!!

  • @Blessed2BeeAlive Nope, this video is not a duplicate of Part 1. And I'm sorry to know about your husband. What's your husband's lifestyle like? Does he eat well? Sleep well the day before? There are so many reasons to as why your husband is the way he is. It's always best to check with a doctor first though. Remember to trace in every single detail, the lifestyle of your husband before consulting a doctor.

  • Is this a duplicate of the 1st video, with the claim that it is part 2?

  • you're pretty milfy radhia

  • Thanks for the this video.

I got them rip out.. tear it up pains and I store all my fat around in my lower waist so i guess im on my way to Hypo type 2.

But hopefully now changing my diet, doing cardio and muscle excercise 4/5 times a week, i can stop my pancreas from buring out... bring it down a gear or two

  • thanks for this great explanation. it's really good.

  • hey rada! i was wondering, do you consider 100% apple juice to be better then 50% apple juice with splenda and maybe 15grams of sugar for carbs?

  • Can you still eat complex carbs and still lose weight?

  • fucking repeating the same old shit about hormones----stop wasting time

  • Comment removed

  • this is really helpful. it has made me decide to rethink my diet. I feel tired all the time and I have added alot of weight recently. Do you have any advice on where I should go from here? I really would like a guide to nutrition. I work and find it difficult to have a stable diet. can you stir me in the right direction?

  • Oh wow! learned something new, I've always assumed that insulin sort of neutralised glucouse in the blood stream to keep levels entering the cells stable, like an alkali neutralising an acid, I had no idea that how it actualy did this was restrict or give access to glucouse in each individual cell!

  • I love the information, thank you so much!

it would be awesome if you can include visuals, it would make tons of difference for me to understand

  • This is an amazing video!Thank you!

  • she reminded me to get my salts and elecrolytes...and electrolytes (I've been eating bananas as well, does that help?). She said: you can overdose on water and get water toxicity, if all you do is drink water... - well, I'm only just trying to drink only water - but I'm eating healthy - no chips, no junk. feel great.....do I need to worry about this? How much salt does a person need? Can I get electrolytes from something beside gatorade? Thanks, in advance, for any help... : )

  • I have a question. I recently stopped drinking and taking in caffeine - including chocolate (unless very occasionally for the chocolate or water downed tea perhaps). I also used to guzzle large amounts of milk. Now I'm stopping that but may occasionally have cheese. I don't drink juice - but eat the fruit instead. And barely take any white sugar. I lost weight, sleep and feel so great! It's amazing but I got this advice from a relative (who also quit caffeine): you can overdose on water

  • What happened to Part 2?

  • Sometimes YouTube screws up and say's a video isn't available. It's just an error, try the refresh. If it still doesn't work, come back later and it will work.

The video is still up though.

  • love your videos can you please give us a lecture on thyroid problems the different types, the symptome and what can some of us do to cure it or make it better

  • Would you be healthy if you only eat lean meats, fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds?

No Dairy and Grains..I'm only 16 but I'm thinking of eliminating these foods because my blood type doesn't accept them.

Would something happend to me if I stopped?

  • lean meats, fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds would be excellent and a much more healthy diet than what most people America eat.

  • Thanks. :)

  • Where is the video? Please make it available.

  • Good stuff.

    Slight correction

Storing fat in the midsection is a male characteristic.

Women store it in the thighs.

  • Stress free Radhia. I am nearly, but I do find that Insecurities in my mind....cause me any stress I experience.

    Peace!!

Meditation works well, Yoga,...tai chi. Where does your name come from? It sounds Indian....

  • Of all your video's I found this one the most useful, thanks for your efforts

  • This appeals especially to me b/c I eat all kinds of things and probably have some sort of problems.

  • Excellent! As a UK citizen I find these videos more useful and interesting than the ones on USA politics.

I hope to see more! :-)

  • The "Days of Our Lives" ( a long running US TV "Soap Opera") is more interesting than USA Politics or the evening news, better acting too!

  • Please let me know if its okay to eat Ramen Noodles. I basically live off them. I have noticed that eating healthy cost alot more money than not. Its this trend in price that keeps me from eating very healthy. I just cant afford it.

  • if you eat those 10 for a dollar Ramen then they are all salt, terrible for you

  • love it i learnt so much

  • Outstanding video! Very easy to understand and very well presented! Keep making these please.

  • bravo!:)

  • Exactly...excellent video..

  • I agree. I work with pizza. I hate handing pizza over to 5 times/week customers. Moderation! The kids menu should consist of... Mom and Dad know best and fruits, veggies, nuts, berries, and some grass raised and finished meats are food. If it's man-made, it's not food. Research it. Ask your friends to research it.

  • Excellent Post thankyou

  • So if pizza is highly glycemic, then is this something I should not be giving to my kids? I thought it was one of the healthier choices on a kids menu due to the protein in the cheese and tomato sauce.

Nice video--you are really good at taking a complex subject and breaking it down so that its understandable.

  • pizza is terrible.. white highly refined dough plus all that fatty cheese.. the sauce is loaded with sugar and the meats are full of fat and nitrates.. it is not healthy at all..

  • but its sooooo good!....

  • Neither is chocolate but we still like it...

  • This series is very informative but the script could be a bit smoother and some diagrams would help a lot.

  • Also, what was your motto again? I only catch 'if it's popped... instant.. it's refined carbs'

  • I really, really, REALLY enjoyed this video. I vaguely remember that lesson in Biology I had years ago. I've been blessed with excellent health so far but I've been overweight and only tried healthy living for 2 weeks now (thanks Natalie!), hope it's not too late for my body.

Make a video on how to identify which is simple carbohydrates so we know how to avoid them, please? I'm following Natalie's motto of 'If it's white, don't take a bite', but I realized the must be more out there.

  • I wish there were a playlist of all your videos on this channel, I really enjoy watching them.

  • good

  • Really helpful Thanks

  • Excellent video! Thanks a lot!

  • fuckin shit... I love pizza...

    I'm screwed...lol

  • Thanks for making this vid, very informative. I have family members that are diabetic, so this is very helpful information.

  • This is what needs to be on main stream Television and this is why I don't watch main stream Television. Good work, let the people know!

  • I already understood carbohydrates (thanks to my nutrition classes) before watching these videos..but now I have an even deeper understanding of them!! I love it! :) Thanks Radhia!

  • WOW! Thank you so much again for sharing this video and information! I absolutely love your videos!

I wonder is there any what to revive the pancreas?? THis video has helped me understand diabetes.

Much love from you to me from MD!

    Sincerely, K.O.S.

  • i thank you so much ms gleese you have really helped me save my life

  • amazingly informative! thank you.

  • Lol, so in other words if I had a choice between two donuts or a pizza I should take the two donuts. Right?! Thank you professor for making it so crystal clear.

  • monster kiwi is attacking!

    again!

  • that kiwi in the background is making me hungry for kiwi now. lol.

  • VERY helpful! I'm CHANGING my diet TODAY! I was working my way through a bag of candy when I started watching this... I'm not finishing it! I'm gonna throw it out and start making a grocery list for tomorrow's shopping! Fruits and veggies! No more sugary unhealthy stuff! THANK YOU for making this video!

  • LOLS, fruits are NOT part of a healthy diet, nor are vegetables for the most part.

  • I agree with the fruit, but whats the beef with veggies? if i may inquire.

  • Well that depends on who you ask, I believe that what ever comes from nature and hasn't been processed somehow is good for you, and in my opinion that includes fruits. That's my choice and you can skip fruits and veggies if you want, I'm gonna eat it.

  • Well, no, actually it doesn't. The science of the last 150 years shows that excessive carbohydrate consumption is the root cause of almost all diseases of civilization.

  • Can you give a reference where you found out this information..preferably something in the science of the last 50 years.

  • fruits and vegetables provide us with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals why wouldn't they be part of a healthy diet?

  • Carbohydrate metabolism causes the body to need more vitamins and minerals. It has been proven that an all-meat diet doesn't result in deficiencies.

Over half of your body's antioxidant capacity is from uric acid, a protein metabolism byproduct.

Fiber scars the intestines and makes nutrients more difficult to absorb.

  • my body, my own EXPERIENCE, says otherwise!

  • Is that you, Spock?

    XD

  • Thank you very much for sharing this info

  • rko?

  • w00t w00t part 2!

  • Can you just eat healthy and gain from being healthy?

  • Nice!

  • Wow, I love your videos! the info is really usefull! ^-^
