sidekick has a better plan(unlimited text,internet,email,and instant messaging) for $1 day...i had both phones in some ways the gravity is better but in some ways the sidekick is better...aim is really nice on a sidekick and so is the internet

You should get the gravity because I was at the phone store and it's like an actual phone but the sidekick is just like a keepad so yeah plus I'm getting the gravity

Samsung Gravity is better cause you can go on aim for free unless you aim someone . And sidekick 08 it sometimes erases all your contacts in your phone book.

If you get the internet on your sidekick then the phone is better but the samsung gravity is the best because its a messaging phone with no strings attached

My friends has the sidekick and she hates it, it broke 6 times already and she didnt even drop it..... And th would choose the gravity my friends also has that phone and she loves it she had it for 3 years now and she doesnt want to get a new phone :D TELL ME WHAT YOU CHOOSE

sidekick because it has online web, apps unlike the gravity which sucks balls. It breaks easily, My friend dropped it on his bed while it was closed it broke. Sidekick has a 2 megapixel but the gravity has 1.3. the sound quality is better too. Now the sidekick is cheaper and hell lot better.....

ps. The sidekick is easier to text. So if you live for texting it saves you a lot of time!!!

You should get the samsung gravity cause its really cool and its a single fone but the sidekick is really boring cause no gets the sidekicks no mmore and it cant fit in ur pocket unless u force it so yeah but there cool fones but the gravity is really cute and a cute color so yeah byeeee

i had only 6 months with my sidekick 2008 and the battery just fucked up! i called T-mobile and they told me it was because: i played music, used the internet texted at the same time! what a crap! i think if you can do all those things at the same time is for some reason! hope doesntt happens the same with you my friend! good luck!

Honestly, I would get the Samsung Gravity. I currently have the Sidekick 2008 and it has alot of problems, like it deletes all your contacts when you take your battery out. You also don't get notified when you recieve a text message unless you have a data plan. And I also am about to get a Samsung Gravity because my Sidekick broke. : )

and i got a sidekick..............SLIDE. i know its kinda old but i got like a rly good deal for the phone. plus, it slides so hopefully it doesnt break as easily. The plan i got is the $1 a day deal. i ♥ it !!

i would so do the samsung gravity. me and my sister both have one, i have the grey and lime colored 1. But its awesome. You can chek your email, which helps depending on where you work and you can easily txt when your on the phone. And the keyboard has way more feeling then the sidekick. And you can't do a ton on the sidekick without the plan so i would get the gravity.

i have a sidekick without a data plan which obviously means i dont get alerted when i get a text message. i found a solution which notifies me 2 minutes later. so basically heres my situation, i have a sidekick 08 that alerts me that i have a text 2 minutes after i actually get the message, should i exchange it for the gravity?

Hmm, it really just depends on your preference but i'd actually have to say the gravity. I had the sidekick and traded it in for the gravity. the trackball on the sidekick gets stuck easily and its really annoying when that happens. also, it sometimes gets really annoying flipping it open, while the gravity just slides open. also the gravity is cheaper and idk i just think its better. hope i helped :)

i wud get the sidekick 2008 no doubt if u dont mind paying for the web fees. cause without it the phne is useless. if u just want a phone thats easy to use and no extras to pay get the gravity. i have had both and i chose the gravity because the webplan for the sidekick was too pricey
