  • WOW the goood old movies are better than any new crap they make thease days

  • 2:13 ... (8) Take my hand, there's a world I need to know (8) * Ends with Tarzan and Jane looking each other in the eye (8) ... Oh my... :') Gets me everytime!

  • You'd think having almost reached my twenties I would have grown out of that movie.. I am so okay with the fact that I havent :D

  • GREAT MOVIES!

  • DAMN old days :D am crying.... :(

  • I miss those days that a child was actually a child and not a obnoxious 1st grader screaming at their parents to buy them a new cell phone... 'sigh'

  • 3:30

She looks like a kitten.... o_0

  • havent watched tarzan for 10 years, still remember the lyrics <3

  • This is one of my favorite disney movies I wanted to be tarzan when I was younger

  • I'm as old as the Pocahontas movie and so fucking glad that I was born in the decade of amazing Disney and Dreamwork movies. Now... now we still have some good movies like "Up" and "Tangled" and "Shrek"... but not as good as they were in the 90s. I miss my childhood.

  • AAWWWW =')

  • im 15 and i have recently began to go back and watch every classic i ever loved again online!!! i love phil collins! he is a very talented man, and i love him to death!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Any teenager who grew up with these kinds of Disney movies, who says they hate them has either been

    1. brainwashed

    2. hit on the head one too many times

    3. or is absolutely insane, and has been deprived of a childhood for too long.

  • My friends 10 year old cousin asked me what I was singing because he had never heard it before.....I was singing "The circle of life"....and to me that is sad. Then he just stared at me funny when I then started singing "Savages" because he had no idea what that was from either....SERIOUSLY PEOPLE?... :T I told him he has been deprived of his childhood....he just went back to playing Modern warfare 3....he is 10...WTF

  • tarzan is so cute and innocent >////<

  • tarzan is so cute and innocent >////<

  • tarzan is so cute and innocent >////<

  • my favorite part is I WANNA KNOW!

  • I love these old disney movies:) Personally I don't really consider Disney Channel the REAL Disney if that makes any sense. I don't think Walt Disney would be proud of the shows on Disney Channel now, I don't really know how to explain it but these movies ARE Disney. Their about bravery, love, friendship, and fighting for what you believe in. Disney Channel doesn't really have this.

  • i loe tarzan, but come on. half the stuff the man does is impossible

  • @grinchy29 It's a movie; OF COURSE it's impossible.

  • @grinchy29 nothing is impossible with disney =]

  • Phil Collins voice is so inspiring; I'll never forgot this movie.

  • This my jammmmmmmmmmmmm!

  • 3:21 There's a random fat man with another gut behind him.

  • Lion King is great, but Disney really needs to release a Tarzan Blu-ray remastering one of these days!

  • even as an eight year old i thought tarzan was hot

  • I wish I was Jane

  • jane reminds me of myself i culd so see me doin all dis stuff sept bein proper lol

  • LOV DIS MVIE watched atleast lik 300 times lol

  • Brilliant song, shame Phil Collins is such an arsehole

  • It's so effing beautiful

  • this song was my childhood. I get butterflies whenever I hear it :)

  • I swear, with God and youtube as my witnesses, I will do everything I can to raise my child the way that my parents did with me in the 90's. Playing outside all day, watching good 'ole Disney (none of this Disney Channel crap..), and no phones, make-up, or boy/girlfriends until they're older. There's a reason kids aren't born as teenagers, and that's because everyone deserves a chance at a good childhood.

  • @TheConeOfShame You deserve a medal for even attempting this. If you succeed I will personally bake you a giant, commemorative cookie.

  • @TheConeOfShame Tha'ts exactly what I've been thinking while watching tarzar or the lion king almost criyng... they have to feel the magic before start playing the psp or shit like that witch goggles at 5years... change that man, I'll do.

  • @TheConeOfShame Makes two of us. :)

  • @TheConeOfShame So true i am only twelve but i have seen what they put in kids minds these days it's sad really. i mean Middle school is WAY too early for dating. I dont know why people wont just relax and think for once about how they are raising their kids. I am glad that i was raised around a time that Disney still made quality shows on Disney Channel not this teen drama crap they have now. After the rerelaese of Lion King they should have woken up and said,

  • @horsegirl2022 "Why dont we make this kind of stuff anymore? Quality shows and movies with meaning and purpose, not just comedy? Walt Diseny would turn in his grave if he saw what was being made today! Come people! WAKE UP!!!!!

  • @TheConeOfShame I think it's gonna be rather difficult, because there will definitely be a lot of peer pressure.. Just do your best and compromise.. Of course they have to watch all the ol' disney movies! :-D But I don't think they are gonna get trough the school yard without a phone and all.. Just don't spoil them and DON'T buy an iPhone (-:

  • @TheConeOfShame word. couldnt have said it any better

  • @TheConeOfShame Amen to that!

  • @TheConeOfShame God, this deserves a GREAT BIG THUMBS UP!!!!!

  • @TheConeOfShame I hope you do! My father passed away when i was 17 , he was a single parent and I raised my siblings 9 and 11, I am 22 now and couldn't be happier seeing them both in highschool, and not trashy like most kids these days. Goodluck sir

  • Walt Disney: Hey everybody! I'm back!

90's kids: YAY!!!!!! Now fix it!

  • @shallonjade the 90's were largely created by Howard Ashman (Beauty and Best, Little Mermaid, Aladdin) So, if you want the 90's back, bring him back (he died at 40 by HIV right after he finished Beauty and the beast and was starting Aladdin :( )

  • @shallonjade Don't forget the 2000 to 2004 kids too! :o

  • where did he get the bike? and how did he learn to ride it?

  • despite the fact jane is all proper and clean she still goes crazy with the animals and isn't afraid to go near them like most girls are now

  • favorite song of tarzan ever

  • my fav part of the song starts at 2:12

  • Comment removed

  • Hear me out people.....Phil Colins did not ruin this movie!

  • Lol for everybody that has all of these questions, read the actual book. It explains everything

  • Tarzan looks like fabio :P I just realized that haha

  • i feel bad for my lil sis she will never have a great childhood like mine :/

  • This song reminds me of when I was a little girl and i watched this movie with my sister. Now i'm older, and I still love this song. I wish I could go back in time to those days, and tell myself to treasure every moment.

  • i love how theres a narwhal in one of the pictures tarzan's flipping through lmao

  • That was my world.I enjoyed my childhood. We were free. And now,I become sad when I think on the children today...I mean,Dora and something like that?! The girls today are 10 and wear makeup and only think about boys, they have iphones and are addicted to their mobile phones :/ A lot has changed :/

  • It makes me sad when I think on the children today.I'm born 1995,I was out with my friends every day,we didn't care about cellphones or ipods or something like that..we didn't care about the others and we had no problems to wear old cloths and become dirty.I loved Disney.Tarzan,Pocahontas,Aristocats,Mulan,Brother Bears.

  • @Tequila95001 Born i nthe same year as you. Things have changed. A little while ago i asked a couple 12 year olds if they were going to watch the Lion King while it was i ntheaters. What did i get, "psh, no! Thats for little kids!" I was saddened to hear that...My girlfriends and i, we were so excited when it came into theaters for a limited time! And we're sixteen!

  • SERIOUSLY!!! I get on youtube to watch some good disney songs and then when i look at the comments all i see is trash about how disney has gone down and blah blah blah. The old disney movies are great! and so are the newer ones. the TV shows on the disney channel show ARE NOT MOVIES!! AND even the movies that they show on the disney channel can you barely consider an actually disney channel movie! so come!!! grow up and if you disagree with this post please let me know.

  • @16leave notice you have no thums down?

  • This film WAS my childhood :3

  • I endure Phil Collins existence Specifically because he did this soundtrack.

  • Why am I sitting here jamming to this song?!?!? Oh, Wait! I Know! Because IT IS PURELY AMAZING!!! I love this movie!

  • Clayton disliked this 46 times

  • My most favorite part is 2:30 Ugh! the most expressive eyes I ever seen in disney animation! <3x1,000,000

  • "Come with me now to see my world

Where there's beauty beyond your dreams

Can you feel the things I feel

    Right now, with you

    Take my hand

    There's a world I need to know"

  • Oh and in the book Clayton is a good guy and Tarzans cousin.

  • For a lot of people that ask how it is that Tarzan doesn't have a beard, the book says how he didn't want to think of him self as an ape but as a man like his father was so he uses a knife so shave his face. Just thought I would share that :)

  • Disney Songs.

Once you're watching one, you're watching all of them!

  • I bet Tarzan remembers the first girl he ever liked. you know, when he was like, ooooooo, say, 26

  • In the book Tarzan kills Kerchek :/ that made me sad

  • @KayliesModernLife Well, in the book, Kerchak was also the one that killed Tarzan's family. So it's sad, but almost appropriate

  • @roselle495 Ya I know :/ and it's also Kercheks fault that Kalas baby dies. And he tries to kill Tarzan, which is the only reason he kills Kerchek. So it is pretty fair.

  • 2:16

    that's one long ass vine...

  • Like if you're looking up random old disney songs

  • @TheReadySet68143 year and watching te hilarious vids with them

  • Ever since seeing this movie I wanted my prince to be buff and fly through trees like that

  • Clayton watched this 46 times....

  • Love how frustrated Clayton gets when he rips the picture up! Looks ready to tear his hair out too!

  • I wonder how Tarzan would be at planking

  • gonna buy this movie and save it for a rainy day

  • Walt Disney: Hey everybody! I'm back!

(looks around at what has happened)

    O_O

Walt Disney: What........What did you do??????

  • @goosierunner820 the people working at disney nowadays would shit themselves in the presence of his mere awesomeness

  • @goosierunner820 Walt Disney: (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

  • @goosierunner820 I think poor Disney is turning over in his grave because of some of the new cr*p that's getting put out in his name nowadays

  • @goosierunner820 I hate to ruin you're perception of Walt Disney and I do totally agree that things have really changed from back when he was alive but Disney was a thief, a racist, and a bit of a prick

  • @626deadpool Well thats a first I've heard of it. If you dont mind could you site your scource please, with respect I've never read or seen any evidence of that. Walt Disney was a topic in my art class. Now to be fair we didn't do an in depth study of the man or his beliefs or life habits but not a one of the people that was brought in to our college classroom had anything negative to say about him in fact it was mostly revrence and respect. But i am interested so please resond.

  • @KLouthan1 One of my friends was a digital media major and wrote a large detailed report on the subject sadly I am no longer in contact with him but he pulled a lot of sources from sociology, psychological, business, and from biography's written on the man. I can't say whether or not these were all credible though since I don't have copies of the books with me sorry I usually try not to say something unless I have evidence to go with it.

  • @626deadpool Its all good. I jut thought it an intersting comment and perpective that i hadn't heard, I didn't mean to sound like i was giving you the third degree or somthing. but thanks for you response.

  • If Walt Disney sees what became of Disney Studio/Channel he'll probably be very disappointed.

  • @ImShindo He's rolling in his grave...How Disney how you have fallen since the good old days T.T

  • @GemSola Because Walt Disney DIED! That asshole.

  • tarzan will find and seriously injure the 46 people who disliked this. thats all i'm saying. ;) love this movie, watched it tonighttt!

  • 2:30-2:40 Oooookay the way Tarzan looks at Jane should be illegal...cause that made me blush up to my ears! O///O

  • childhood memories :)

  • Suck that Twilight!

  • 2:16 where the FUCK did that vine come from?! tarzan's foot just magically attracts vines?

  • @kdegennaro3 ...It was off screen and he jumps towards it....

  • I find it sad that i haven't seen this movie since 2001, yet, this song keeps popping back into my head every time i think about it. I don't own the movie, its not on Netflix, and no one has uploaded yet.

  • For some reason, this still reminds me of Mike Tyson

  • DAMN i love GLEN KEANE heh :D

  • why doesnt tarzan have armpit hair?

  • 2nd best disney soundtrackIMO, first is Lion king of course..that soundtrack sold 10 million copies o_O

  • @MrBlahblah9 I have actually own the soundtrack to Lion King three times. First two times was on CD because I listened to the songs a million times and the disc got scratched. Third time i just got it off iTunes.

  • Best Disney movie ever made! Second ONLY to The Lion King, and even then ONLY by the width of a mouse's eyelash!

  • It's such a shame that they discontinued the series that came after it (Disney's the Legend of Tarzan), Its a lot better than most of the crap that's now on Disney XD.

  • ahh, Disney's Tarzan. The Grand Finale of the Disney renaissance period (1989-1999) and the movie that marked around 62 years of Disney movie magic (beginning with Snow White in 1939).

  • 0:36

    Clayton's face. LOL

  • jba sent me here xD

  • Am I the only one who loves this scene purely for its portrayal of an uncivilized man discovering the fruits of industrial civilization, and its reflections on the wonders of technological/economic progress?

  • @TheAntiSPLC People like you hurt my brain....but in a good way.

  • wow i didn't think this song would have 2 million views but it is a very good song

  • Sorry to burst your bubbles girls, but the guy runs around in a loincloth all day everyday in a jungle. Think about it. Hint: he doesn't wash. However Jane on the other hand...mmm I must have missed something as a child to forget about her existence until now.

  • @GloomProduction I'm sorry, I stopped listening when you said "runs around in a loincloth all day".

  • south park told me that phil collins is a douche, but hes not that bad..

  • @bandai2 Haha same. But they made that Phil Collins Douche episode because Blame Canada lost to You'll Be in my Heart at the Oscars. :P

  • 90's Disney movies were legen - wait for it - dary!!! Bring those days back!!

  • @aquanette0love Shang from Mulan?

  • Awwwww the lyrics about Tarzan's feelings about Jane are adorable =]

  • Jane is the cutest thing in the world.

  • @milkytwix Soooooooooo, does that make you a cartoon character???

  • This still manages to give me goose bumps everytime I watch this, brings back so many childhood memories :')

  • wonderfully classic :)

  • "I can't."

    "Why not, Tarzan?"

"Kerchak." Just...Kerchak. Yup, that about covers it.

  • @prue6967- What's the Ape word for Kerchak? lol.

  • If only Tarzan was around now. He would have some amazing bike skills like at 1:02

  • I remember cheering on Simba when he fought Scar.

I remember booing at Ursela when she took Ariel's voice.

I remember fighting the Huns with Mulan.

I remember the wind through my hair, running by Pocahontas.

I remember being locked in the Beast's castle.

I remember laughing and having fun with Mickey and his friends.

I don't remember watching stupid teen drama on Disney Channel

Copy and paste this to all your favorite Disney Videos and let's start a revolution.

    W. Disney forever.

  • Tarzan is in damn good shape.

  • I just realized Jane is disney's version of Jane Goodall o.O the time period is set right, she came to study gorrilas, it all makes sense now

  • @yayitsjamison Actually this would be set almost 100 years before Jane Goodall's time. :P

  • Wow! 2 years in Spanish class and I'm an A student, and I still don't get most of the language. 3 minutes and 34 seconds through a Phil Collins song, Tarzan understands English.

    How does that work? O.o

  • @naturegirl148 Dear Phil Collins, Write a spanish song!? Please? Sincerely, Every Spanish Student In Existence. . .But Mostly Me.

  • @naturegirl148 It's a montage, it obviously shows events that take place during a much longer period of time but are sped up so that they can all fit in the movie. Plus, they aren't showing all of the time spent teaching Tarzan, they're showing the parts where he begins to understand. So please stop ruining the moment, okay?

  • @naturegirl148 It's a montage, it doesn't show everything, so please stop ruining the moment, okay?

  • @starkillercloneg ur a fucking idiot...

  • @ChrisSantos1794 That was uncalled for. Also, if you can't give a reason for your claim, then it just proves that you are what you're calling people.

  • @starkillercloneg saying she ruined the moment?

  • @starkillercloneg Well, the comment was made with good intentions and made me laugh; I fail to see how it 'ruined the moment'. xD

  • @naturegirl148 Sorry about the extra replies, my computer wasn't working right.

  • @naturegirl148 Didn't you know? Magical things always happen when people sing in Disney movies! :D

  • @naturegirl148 Well he's already mastered the language of every species in the jungle (that is, the ones that would pause before eating him). After learning to communicate with another species altogether, fellow humans should be piece of cake!

  • @naturegirl148 Better than Pocahontas, who literally learns English by magic.

  • @JudeFergy nooo, she learns english by listening with her heart, jeez! don't you listen to the songs?

  • @marleylove05 Like I said. Magic.

  • @naturegirl148 da risa verdad?

    lol funny isn't it?

  • @naturegirl148 The magic of Disney makes anything possible.

  • @naturegirl148 Aliens

  • @naturegirl148 In the books he learns written English (by reading his dead parents books) and then spoken French and later on many many more languages. In the books he is actually a genius :D

  • @naturegirl148 Phil Collins is just that awesome.

  • @naturegirl148

The only thing I can think of is that his parents spoke English when he was a baby and he remembered it? Or maybe Jane and company were there with Tarzan a lot longer than it shows? No idea. XD

    Anyway, I love this song!

  • @naturegirl148 eh....its Disney...yea

  • its Disney magic mate @naturegirl148

  • @naturegirl148- He's been around the language constantly. That helps...but yes, way too fast. Wouldn't be much of a movie though otherwise.

  • @naturegirl148- Another thing. Why no British accent? You obtain the accent you hear...am I right??

  • @naturegirl148 tarzan was intelligent and could learn a new language easily

  • Gosh DANG it Jane is beautiful. What was I missing as a kid?

  • from 2:13 to 2:37 that scene is so beautiful to me! XD

  • @ap310340 I agreeee!!!

  • Tarzan and Jane beat any Disney Princess or Prince, <3

  • Damn I love Phil Collins.

  • @JennaGoesMoo He has a good singing voice.

  • @JennaGoesMoo phil is a legend
