This was a big shootout win for the Flames & it may end up being the 2 points they need to make the playoffs come April. And while they lost 4-3 to the Canucks last night it wasn't a bad loss & if they get Vancouver in the first round it will be a very close series that the Flames may very well end up winning.

@daydaviddunn Whether the Flames make the playoffs or not i'm sticking by them cause of their effort since Christmas. At least they're trying to make the playoffs & not trading all their best players like the Leafs are & giving up on the season. But if the Flames do make the playoffs, which i still think they got a great chance to, they may go all the way cause at this point i think they can beat any team they face in the first round including Vancouver, Detroit, San Jose & Chicago!

So dumb the refs first reaction is no goal he waves it off theres no conclusive evidence that the puck crossed the goal line so should the play be the called as the refs called initially as no goal?!?! Something like this would only happen to the canucks oh well still 1st in the west Go nucks!!!!

@christina7163 Still a goal. The puck was found in Luongo's pads, which BOTH crossed the goal line. It went to review, and concluded it was a goal.

I love it when people have NO clue about the rules of hockey. Fuck. No rules were broken. Flames won. Good goal by Tanguay.
