Actually you swipe *up* to get the contents and issues pages. Although the icons are at the bottom, you swiped *up* to see them. :-)

5 dollars an issue is outrageous for a download magazine, I dont download magazines but for real you can get subscriptions to magazines for a year for like 20 dollars or so come on.

Pretty sweet!!! I am going to wait to get an iPad till it has some more features other then the books and the keyboard option for documents.....

my iPhone 3GS is WAY easier to carry around, fits in my pocket, and the only difference is it doesnt have books or a keyboard option.. so I will wait till there is a 2nd or even 3rd generation of this product when it has some sweet features.

@xTurnipTimex iPhone 4.0 was previewed yesterday, it has wireless keyboard support and iBooks. It's worth pointing out though, the are different kinds of devices. The iPad is designed primarily for use in boardroom or lounging situations, like around the home.

@macflyfilm iBooks = dumb for the iPhone.. but as for the Keyboard support, that will come in handy for typing homework etc on my iPhone which would be sweet! I can type it in the car etc. I will totally be getting a keyboard then since i can use it with my macbook pro anyway for final cut etc.

@xTurnipTimex I'm more of a late adopter too although I tend to wait until there is a 2nd or 3rd gen version and then consider the 1st gen version as it will be so cheap just like my 1st gen iTouch was.
