NO MAX & IAGO coming to dinner! Remei drops in to ask Clara to give Trini a job (without knowing it, she has saved Clara's life!). Later on, when Clara has managed to get rid of her, Sergi arrives and asks her to pick up her things and leave the flat for her own safety. He notices that the killer has been there. Too late: he has run away.
By the way Inakitxu75, now that kusonson has made me take a trip down memory lane I don't remember El Cor explaining or giving a flashback about how Lali died. If I'm not being too much a pain in the behind , can you please tell me? Pretty please with sugar on top^^
You can now see the early Eps at the Alacarta 3 site on TV3's site.So far Eps.1-50. You pay €20. It's important to understand everything happening now: Max is the absolute central character with his search for love and stability. Clara and Lalli are in prison. Clara is released and dreams of being re-united with her daughter Nuria (the dream is the title sequence), but she rejects her mother. Lalli comes out of prison Ep44 and we meet Max in Peris Bar and he goes to play table football.
Thanks a lot, Paulieboy09. Bernat Quintana referred to that scene at Peris' playing table football as his first sequence with Sílvia Sabaté, the actress who plays Clara.
Marcel joins him and then they call up Lali and Clara from the same table as Max/David at Beni's Birthday. Later a heart rending scene with Max and Lali, Max tries to comfort and counsel his mother (BQ incredible, the best actor!). Lali can't get off the drugs, and has no future. She sees Clara has prospects and believes she has recovered her old partner, Jordi. So basically she gives Max to Clara so fulfilling C's wish for a child, and kills herself so that Max will have a better life. Wow!
Oh! thank you Paulieboy09,you're sweeter than apple pie ;)
Such a sad ending for Lali. From the little glimpse I got of her she sorta had an exotic middle eastern or gypsy look to her. It would be so cool if El COR writters somehow went more in depth with that side of Max.
Thanks Inakitru75, Sorry I'm not a spoiler I don't know for sure! The real spoilers are TV3 who are giving MASSIVE hints!! If you watch the early Eps everything is a re-run of Max's life Lalli out of prison with son, dies Ep 1,44,45,60-64;(BQ already the strongest actor!!:))=Berta;Beni doesn't except=Dani;Iago=Joel etc, etc +all the omens etc +the juxtaposition at the Club. What I wanted to say is WHY are they making it so ominous? I was wondering if it's to distract us from the real surprise?
I'm just so impressed with this show, it looks superficially like flat realism, like "Home and Away" or "Eastenders" but if you look at it you realise it's all so totally theatrical, omens, prophetic dreams, even a blind seer (Paco)! (He he he) Apartments that magically sift across town (Beni's place). And I wonder if now they hint so much is it because there will be some total surprise with the metamorphosis of the characters? Anyway thanks for helping to introduce me to this MARVELOUS show!
Inaitxu75 you can call me an alarmist but I'm not so happy that precisely now Clara has decided to make amends with Max and even Iago @_@ I don't like it, especially with this killer on the loose.
After what the writer said on the Club yesterday (1 or 2 deaths, Max the main storyline) I think the awful ending is pretty clear. But in Guillem Clua's play "Skin in Flames" it's the same, clues about the bad ending. But the real shocker is what is unexpectedly revealed about the characters, flipping your perspective. Maybe he's doing the same here. I fear we may be going to see terrible and unexpected behaviour from some of the characters and our view of them is going to get totally changed.
I can't seem to find any video of The Club yesterday. Did the writer say anything else, besides that there would be 1 or 2 deaths? (In the season finale, I assume?)
My Catalan is shaky, to say the least! But he said that Max, Clara and Sergi would be the main story line, with Eli, Ivan and the Okupas the secondary. That there would be the at least one death of a male character and, or one of a female character. The director said they will film the last week near to St Joan's day (23 June). He confirmed there will be a ninth season.
They also showed old season finales, most very dark. Given all the clues, and since everything is repetition, I'm betting on Eli+ burning to death in an electrical fire in Can Sarro trapped in the bathroom unable to open the window (repeat of Xicago club fire 2001), while simultaneously (like the gas explosion/David's beating earlier) Max gets his hands sliced off in Prison (Toni stabbed 2005). Ep.1593's visual clue was Iago with knife, Sandra's amputated right hand, and then Max's hands!
Wow, you have really thought this out! :) Thank you for your info and predictions, I really appreciate it. At least we know Max will be in the main storyline, to look on the bright side!
Yes we get to see Max, and really anything could happen! There's been all those clues about Max's hands and knives, and death in prison, and the same with Eli and being trapped, but they could be tricking us. I think the main thing is what we learn about the characters. The director pointed out how carefully the plot is constructed before the season commences, and that they don't change anything.
Thank you for letting me know. I was hoping she would :)
By the way, I completely agree with you and Paulieboy09 about Max's look...you're right that he projects such maturity, which I think reflects the maturity of Bernat's acting!
Un abrazo. (Por cierto, tu frase abajo es perfecta.)
Thank you also Inakitxu ;)

I'm afraid I won't be able to help you a lot. As you may know, Max's biological mother, Lali, was a junkie. She died because of an overdose, I guess.
Maybe someone who has followed the series from the beginning would be able to answer to your question properly.

I do find the hints about Max and Iago worrisome, but I am hopeful that they will both be okay.
Thanks, Inakitxu75.

Paulieboy09:
I really THANK YOU for your comments. 'El cor' screenwriters will certainly give us big surprises in the end of that season.
I prefer not to read the spoilers though I can't help it ;o))
Let's see how events unfold (is that correctly said?)

Sorry! I'm not being a spoiler, I don't know anything for sure!!:)

Don't worry, Paulieboy09, you weren't the spoiler I was talking about! XDD I was referring to TV3 MASSIVE hints (just to quote you this time!) ;o))
You're right; I totally agree with your depiction of the similarities in the message below.

You're welcome, chriytu! ;o))
I agree with you. However, according to the spoilers, Clara won't be killed even if we will see shots... Someone will be injured.

I LOVE Max's soulful look (Paulieboy09 dixit!!)
He's so mature, far more than Clara & Beni anyway!
Such an amazing character and such an amazing actor!
