The "one note" in this case is a D and it is there ...( should have called it two note samba ....is not hearing right).

really the song shouldve been called 2 note samba

in the original the melody was just one note while chords changed around it

then

you switch to another note with chords changing around it

i love this arrangement though

its called one note becuase the a section consists of one note repeated over and over if you have any ear for music you would hear that, and yes, that ONE note does change, and in the B section its just alot of different notes, kinda funny song

Wow, James is the greatest ukulele virtuoso of the world! I liked how he created the percussion sound with one hand on the sound hole of the ukulele and doing the mute strumming.
