  • thank you a lot, very interesting lesson :-)

  • very nice, tnx alot...

  • it' was very needful for me!

  • good job! thansk.

  • But tell me: how can the causative and the passive be the same? Aren't the subject and the object supposed to be exchanged? My hair was cut by a hairdresser? My hair was made to be cut by me? ????

  • @irmaladouce56, just follow the structure he's shown you.

"My hair was cut by a hairdresser" is used if someone asks "who cut your hair." If you're letting someone know about your haircut, simply say "I had my hair cut."

To fix your last sentence, "I was made to have my hair cut." It means you were forced by somebody to have your hair cut by someone else (in this case a hairdresser)

    Hope this helps!

  • Nice job.

  • Thank you , teacher ! it's very nice lesson .

  • Thank you sooooooooo much!!!!

  • Thank you master for doing this video. it work on me a lot because im in the process of studying to pass the TOEFL. Could i add a note?: in order to have a sentence correct in the part of Causatives, the verbs need to be in Simple form, in MAKE, in let, but in have ithave to be in past participle. And in help it could be in simple form or in Infinitive. am i right? Take care. Alex

  • you dont bore us during the lesson

  • Great! Thank you so much for your clarifications!
