you honda fan boys are funny. the 636 is one of sweetest bikes ever built. for $1000 less than this cbr, it was a steal. faster and better looking too

This is all left up to the rider's interpretation. I personally like the look of CBRs better.

The new '07 CBR600RR is $1000 more than the 2006 ZX-6R that I bought. For my 636 I just installed $850 worth: full exhaust (used), PCIII, K&N air filter, flushmount signals. I still have $150 in my pocket, not to mention a bike that is every bit as light and a hell of a lot more powerful than a stock CBR600RR. A stock 636 has more power over a broader range to begin with, just ask Kevin Duke. Honda is crazy for asking $9,599.

Ha Ha if you get mods for the cbr its a better bike than the kawi but your really splitting hairs and i doubt that anyone on here is skilled enough to get the bike to a level where you can really notice which is the best bike.

Sorry to say but Kawa really sucks ass, especially the 636 version. And yes, i have personal experience in this case. I changed my kawa into a R6, which is a good bike. Honda rules too.

I had an 03 6R (636). It wasn't a bad bike, by any means (it was rated the highest that year). The 07-08 CBR 600RR's are definitely better, but that's like comparing apples to oranges. I will say that I have NEVER been on a stock bike that handled better than an 07 600RR. That bike is amazing in the corners.

what ninja are you talking about, if you mean the 09 zx6r then you are wrong, it is faster than the honda and better midrange, plus it has a slipper clutch and a gear position indicator : )

Bought one just like this a few months back. (Black and Pearl). I love it. Breaks my heart that I have to wait 6 for winter to end before I can take it back out. This bike is awsome

the litre bike is quicker in the straight line, granted, however this is very quick, very fast, and handles like ,. well better than any litre bike period. I believe middleweights are more fun and this is not to knock the litre bikes however they are in a more-so power category as opposed to the well balanced 600rr amusement park .here me now, believe me later thanx

I agree. I think that overall the 600's are a better track bike. I live about 20 mins from Barber (where this video was shot) and the rear straight is the only place long enough to let a literbike really flex it's muscle. They'll have an advantage but nothing huge. Everywhere else the light weight and shorter wheelbase of the 600's make it easier to ride.

i do agree with the others about the 600s and the 1000s, so it all comes back to my opinion that the best supersport bike you can have is the gsxr 750.its light its powerful and not so expensive
