  • Spitfires, Hurricanes, Lancasters, Mossies, and many other brit craft, and even the US P-51 used the Merlin engine. That is what won us the war in the air, the Merlin, and Griffon engine from it.

  • I agree. The original CGI is better without the artifitial scratches.

  • Thank you great short film. ; )

  • not sounds like a MErlin engine

    nice GCI

  • Computer graphics with excellent audio and 'scratched cine? Mosquitoes were assembled by cabinet makers throughout the UK. The Merlin engine and the Mosquito were both 'private ventures, unfunded by the government at the time..

  • they look nothing like beau-fighters

  • @foot8sativa sorry you are right. it is a mosquito

  • It is not a mosquito but a beau-fighter which is featured here.

  • @mrsillywalk no really it IS a mosquito featured here!

  • The sound of those engines, its like magic!

  • you should give credit to the originator of this CGI vid that you copied and added FX to

  • Wood and metal reflect radar in the similar ways, stealth works around the way the radar is returned and the angles of the surface it reflects off, not just the materials it is made from. it wasn't radar proof, same as the wellington, the frame of which was made of a woodwork lattice.

They were very strong tho, able to take a lot of hits and still make it home.

  • The moskito was radar proof since it's made out of wood and actually doesn't have that bad Armour.

  • shitt thatitsjusta cimotueranimation

  • They certainly aren't sounding like beautiful Merlin engines to me! They sound more like radial engines.

If the Lisbon Treaty is ratified by all 27 member states..Britain's RAF will be forced by law to swear allegience to the EUROPEAN UNION.

    Google eutruth and weep !

  • oh god,don't bomb me!

  • Mosquitos NOT Mosquito's

  • AMEN.........LOL

  • If Air Vice Marshall Johnny Johnson was a mate of yours that would make you about 90 now . Old Boy
