The question you should be asking is why Hamas appeared on the scene. In a way, Hamas is the product of years of brutal Israeli policies against innocent Palestinian civilians. We could almost say that Hamas was indirectly created by Israel, and I would say Israeli leaders are happy Hamas exists, as it justifies their policies.

Hamas is indeed a radical party, and I can even agree that it is unacceptable, but it is no more unacceptable than many Israeli governments of the past decades (Sharon commanded the Sabra and Shatila massacre, Begin was the leader of a brutal terrorist organisation, etc), so as a gov. democratically elected by the P, it should be party to all negotiation efforts. The fact remains that it is Israel and the US who are blocking all peace efforts.

Each year there is a UN vote on the Peaceful Settlement of the Palestinian question which would solve all disputes by applying the international consensus on borders, and the whole world votes in favour while Israel and the US vote against, thus effectively blocking a peaceful settlement. The only "solution" Israel proposes is to limit Palestinian territory to a series of small disconnected uselss areas.

Only, someone who really hates would respond to "Jews lived throughout the Arab world as second-class citizens for many centuries… The atrocities committed were disgraceful" with "better Jews suffer than Israel be created," or even "serves them right, bastards."
When the bear in striped shirt instead responds with "Those actions were terrible," it tells me he is not really hateful. Not like human beings are hateful.
But "Sometimes winning an argument is more upsetting than losing" is excellent.
Only, it's so subtle, I didn't catch it at first. Others too won't catch it. This is not the matter in which it pays to be subtle.
Overwhelming majority of those who say, "I hate Israel but I don't hate Jews" are lying. They do hate Jews, they're just hiding this hatred for now.
The small minority who are honest about it: so what? You don't hate all Jews, you hate only those in Israel? Not all 14 million people, only 6 million? Does that make it OK?

The question you should be asking is why Hamas appeared on the scene. In a way, Hamas is the product of years of brutal Israeli policies against innocent Palestinian civilians. We could almost say that Hamas was indirectly created by Israel, and I would say Israeli leaders are happy Hamas exists, as it justifies their policies.

Hamas is indeed a radical party, and I can even agree that it is unacceptable, but it is no more unacceptable than many Israeli governments of the past decades (Sharon commanded the Sabra and Shatila massacre, Begin was the leader of a brutal terrorist organisation, etc), so as a gov. democratically elected by the P, it should be party to all negotiation efforts. The fact remains that it is Israel and the US who are blocking all peace efforts.

Each year there is a UN vote on the Peaceful Settlement of the Palestinian question which would solve all disputes by applying the international consensus on borders, and the whole world votes in favour while Israel and the US vote against, thus effectively blocking a peaceful settlement. The only "solution" Israel proposes is to limit Palestinian territory to a series of small disconnected uselss areas.

What Israel keeps offering is returning to the Palestinians only a small fraction of their own land, and to return it in the form of an unviable split-up territory that becomes useless because it is not interconnected. Israel refuses to accept the June 1967 borders, which are the borders the rest of the world agree on. Israel rejects all options for peace while it exterminates the Palestinians.

If they had proposed something close, the Palestinians would have accepted straight away, as the Palestinians agree with the international consensus, which gives back not all of their land, but some of it. In this sense, the Palestinians are much more generous than the Israelis, as they accept to part with some of the land that was theirs in order to achieve a peaceful settlement, wheas Israel wants the whole land.

Its title is "I hate Israel," but it's not really about hating Israel.
Doesn't anyone see the difference between "I hate Israel" on one hand and "I object to Israel's treatment of Palestinians and I am against blockade of Gaza," on the other. The second case is not about hatred, so it can be dealt with, through truth-telling, education, reasonable debate.

The other videos in the series are focused on comparing Israel to other countries. This video does so as well, in comparing hate sentiment towards it and different religions.
It also highlights the rabid anti-semitism of Hamas
