Im going to talk the bit about talking like a maniac at 300kilometres per hour. but I think the video I posted after that one kindof cancelled out the calmness of the previous video... haha.
YAY FOR CRUNCH TIME!
thanks for the video responce john! <3
in parts you pretty much said the things I wanted to say, but better. =P
and I don't think its quite a bazillion but its close, =P
and the 'fellowship' of believers (exactly like a family. If you have brothers and sisters, your relationship isn't just with your parents, it is with your siblings as well...and what you do and say effects them as well!)
But your right...there is so much devision in the church with so many denominations and such. It is really sad actually!!!
Hey John...some really interesting thoughts! I hope you don't mind me taking you up on some of them;
I guess for a christian (a bible believing christian), the relationship they have is not just between them and God. It is not just a personal thing. This idea of "and what is God FOR YOU" - which I like to call Oprah-ism - is just not what is in the bible. And if a person claims to be a bible beliving christian, then the bible makes it very clear that the relationship is between you, God,
I had my own bad experiences with people in church. Do I believe? Sure...but my beliefs are definatly my own and I am comfortable of living my life by NOT going to church. I felt very confined and got tired of the " do this, do that, dont do this"...lots of hippocrisity too.
I think that is the answer to all things in life; do what's right FOR YOU. And I have to be honest for a lot of people religion is not a good thing. But for some it is. And I just wanted to let those people in my life that whatever is right for them, I want them to have that... and I am happy for them, and I hope they can respect my right to opt for something else. And that we can still coexist as human beings... because humanity is what we have in common!
love the title. I sometimes like to think that the funnest point to life is to just have fun: whether it's mindless self indulgence, or exploring all the wonders of humanity in awed outrospection. (is outrospection a word yet?)

I had a friend who recently "found God" tell me that I had a demonic posession. How does one respond to that?

Embracing the mysteries... nice!

You touched on so many of the reasons why I'm agnostic.
Seriously, why fuss? (that's a rhetorical question, of course)
I give this vlog a bazillion stars!!
