I really like Johannesburg. There are some really really terrible things happening but most people are fantastic warm and hospitable but medium size minortiy spoil for everyone.

To complain about the traffic and saying the country is going down the toilet is a dumb comment. Have you ever been to London? I took me an hour to get out of my street once. and the average travelling speed of traffic is 6 miles an hour.

I think we exagerate a lot our selves at times because most of our problems are there in other cities all over the world.. They just choose not to talk about it..its unfortunate we have been trapped by the "consesus" of what Africa should be and not what it actualy is..take away the politics and youl see for your self ... Loved this video. I went to Joburg in Sept with my South African girlfriend. Obviously I heard all the stories before but to anyone thinking of going I reccommend it. I loved the place, the people, ok so there are places like Hillbrow but unless you want to go buy drugs or fuck a rough prostitute then you dont need to go there!. I felt safer there thank walking in London...ps loved it so much we are moving there to work for a year in Dec. Lol loved the Home and Away bit at the end! cheers
