no Eder was not old for 1986,he was 29 but he had few arguments with tele santana and he was left out few months before the WC,great pitty!!!!!

Eder had a gan on his foot but think he was vert old to play in Mexico 1986 world cup.

he had a discussion with the manager (Tele Santana) something about other player of the brazilian team so he decided not to go to mexico in 1986
