@apdragon321 The graphics are not that good, considering half of them are poorly animated. The gameplay is changed quite a bit, the controls are much stiffer and the camera is so far zoomed in that you often smack into things, as the presenter here shows.
I'm sorry but am I missing something? I am a megaman classic player and I don't think it looks THAT bad. I understand that the controls take up half the screen but if I can play megaman X whilst waiting for the bus it can't be worth 2124 dislikes.
@nkendall27 Look at videos of people playing MMX for SNES, then compare it to this video. It's not even scripted properly. The frame rate is horrible. The graphics are a rush job. I have doubts that some of the songs from the original game are even IN this. And the worst thing: SCREEN TRANSITIONS WERE NOT IN THE ORIGINAL MEGAMAN X. Search "sequelitis megaman x" for how dashing and wall-jumping changed the gameplay of MegaMan forever and how this port just shit all over that concept.

i bought it for five bucks the powerups and stuff dont cost money unless your to lazy to go and pick them up or having trouble finding them-the animation isnt that terrible eather, its not the same but it is good- the controls work great on my game, again not the same but still pretty easy- theres blocks that block off pits from dieing only on easy mode- i do admit its not as good as the original though because it merked sidescrolling but i still dont see why this game gets so much hate

I use to be a huge mega man fan, i use to think capcom was one of the best companies in the world. They have trashed both themselves and this franchise to no end. Destroyed everything good about it and now only plan to make money off of cheap reprint and crapy sequels. Unfortunately, idiots will continually by the crap and give companies no reason to go back to making quality. Call of Duty is another example.
It's sad to see such things from a company that you've been following since you were a kid. It's even sadder that the fans are doing the Megaman series more justice than the company itself, with the fangames already made and the ones currently in the works like Megaman X Corrupted showing that great Megaman games CAN still be made. Shame on you Capcom, not just for the way you treat the Megaman series, but the way you treat all of your series and your fans.

Jeez people, the game needed the changes it introduced (the less juggernaut minibosses, improved graphics, difficulty levels, improved hadouken attainment) and I find it to be a very good port for a great game. I don't see the big deal with this game.

X, and Zero's heads look really big for their body, the camera is to close up to them, and come on having to load sections like that? Really? I know that the iOS is limited with some stuff and blah blah blah, it's not that hard to make one long load screen that never appears again once you are in the stage, cause it loads the entire stage!

What the fuck is this? WHAT HAVE THEY DONE to my Mega Man X? The text in that bland, small font just looks so bad its not even funny. Whats with the stages being segmented? The fucking SNES could handle non-segmented levels, you mean the iPhone can't? What's with that DLC? I mean, why bother playing the game at all? Just buy everything! How does one jump and shoot at the same time? Dash jump? Only good thing is that the sprites look HD and stuff, a little better than HQ4X. A little.

i bought it for five bucks the powerups and stuff dont cost money unless your to lazy to go and pick them up or having trouble finding them-the animation isnt that terrible eather, its not the same but it is good- the controls work great on my game, again not the same but still pretty easy- theres blocks that block off pits from dieing only on easy mode- i do admit its not as good as the original though because it merked sidescrolling but i still dont see why this game gets so much hate

What a piece of fucking garbage. I can forgive you for Legends 3, I hated the Legends series. I can forgive Universe, that game looked like Powered Up 2 without the charm that made the original so memorable. But this? Managing to screw up a kick-ass game from the 90s with terrible controls, sloppery gameplay, and charging for stuff that came included with the game back then? I use to be a huge mega man fan, i use to think capcom was one of the best companies in the world. They have trashed both themselves and this franchise to no end. Destroyed everything good about it and now only plan to make money off of cheap reprint and crapy sequels. Unfortunately, idiots will continually by the crap and give companies no reason to go back to making quality. Call of Duty is another example.
