I certainly like it! The MIG-15 was a great machine too. They say that any blacksmith could repair the engine. Only problem was, you needed a runway. I'll be travelling across Russia from St Petersburg to Moscow, to Mongolia, next year.
i heard that all russians fly helicopters for transport.
on a serious note, why won't emelianako come to u.s. an show the ufc whats up? i really like him and I think he could tear through our fighters very easily and dominate the heavyweights. i'm not trying to talk shit, i just wan't a russians opinion.
you're economy is taking off and ours is crumbling. look at the brightside - with your new found indulgence in capitalism, russia will surpass america as the fattest country.
in the coming decades, with the shift in economic power, a growing russian middle class and an increase of poverty in america, i think it will happen.
It already happened (happening) Since the 21rst century we have more technologies and life is easier so people all around the world got a lot fatter few people that are still normal By the way Germany is fattest country or Australia (cant remember)
When you want to take of verticaly you have to pre spin the rotor and than disconnect the drive shaft. Otherwise you will spin the whole plane and crash. After disconnection pull collective pitch and away you go. This concept is old and has been done in the 30's. Not saying it's bad because of that, it's just not a new idea.
Another way is to have jets at the end of the rotor blades. Look for "Fairy Rotodyne", that's really cool.
Very good. I am impressed. He looks like he's in his 60s so he must have a lot of experience as an engineer. I respect guys like him who can make something out of different parts.
Beautifully executed 2-place aluminum configuration! Appears brilliant Russian Design-engr./B.Polovinkin has indeed achieved significant advancement in low-cost rotorcraft flight! Would very much like to see a longer video here on Utube, --better demonstrating such advantageous take-off/landing 'vertically' performance capability particularly; -or he may contact me directly here in So.California-usa (25yr-expert usPatent&TM-consultant) ~Robair vH
I wish there was longer and more detail video of this helicopter/gyroscope. This video is short and may be 3/10.

It's super easy to build an autogyro. Us 'Mericans have been doing it since the late 1950's.
peepeevagi 1 year ago
@peepeevagi you said its easy to build one? Do you know how to build one?
haftydddd 8 months ago
@haftydddd I know how to build one. I just dont have the suitable engine to do it :/
You'd be suprised what all you can buy off shelves and make with your own two hands, some hammers, clamps, and a welding torch :3

@FiEctro That must be the most stupid comment EVER, since:
1) you didn't undertand the positive meaning of my message,
2) drinking alcohol and using a machine s one of the most stupid things that kills people around the world.
3) Prove you are not sitting on the couch while writing this!

This gentalman has said in his interview that
there is no other aircraft like this that can
take off or land vertically in Russia or abroad. Truth is, there are several different
autogyro aircraft here in the States that has
& performs this capability as well. His design
is very well put together, though!
