If you read the constituents of the bill, only those contributing in society with jobs, etc, and those in agreeance with the government will get care. Thanks for your thoughts. Just a couple of replies. Christianity, at least the Christianity I am a part of, is so far from Islam that any comparison is very unfair. The Christ I follow, and so many others of my friends, allows plenty of room for dissent. And most of the Christians I know, including me, would have no problem "calling out" the violent Muslims who wreak their havoc on the world. I'm not sure what Christians you are referring to in your comments.
Also, the Jesus I follow brings great freedom to my life, not oppression - freedom to find meaning and purpose, freedom to be myself, knowing I'm loved unconditionally by the God of this world, freedom to enjoy life and have a ton of fun. Unfortunately, much of the media, including books by authors like Dan Brown, has painted Christianity to be an oppressive, closeminded religion because of what they see in a small minority. This is far from what Jesus taught and what so many Christians believe.
Dan Brown is the author of The DaVinci Code - the book does what amounts to a lot of trashing of the church.
May I suggest a book to read? "The Case for Faith" by Lee Stroebel - a journalist who was once quite agnostic about Christianity, studied it in depth and discovered a great deal to believe in - including a Jesus he grew to trust in and believe. The book helped me a lot to sort through some questions I had.
this video just makes me realize how much you don't know the reason were in this mess is because there was no government involvement. the banks went unregulated by the government and as a result we went into a recession. We need a balance of government involvement without it we fall into a depression. Just look at whats happening now and at the great depression both results of minimal government involvement.
