When it comes down to harsh realities of life, these dreams remain as just that-dreams!

NRI's will appreaciate these episodes more than anyone else.

they dont always remain dreams....the most troubling thing is wen people ask for opinion from others. if they jus listen to their heart and wrk towards it, it wont just stay a dream. we mallus tend to discourage people from their dreams more often than others.dont you think? :P

No, I agree that a small minority do achieve their dreams-of going back home and settling there. Quite often the case is that the kids who have grown up in a different land are v reluctant to go to Kerala or are unable to do so 'cos of their edcuation and career and that means tht the parents also have to discard their dreams. At least 3 people that I know took the plunge, kids failed to settle in Kerala and they had to come back.

Mallus have always discouraged other mallus -that's nothng new!
