I found it easier to do it the classic way, in fact, it took me 3 times to try it this way and die, whereas the classic way took me twice. Just find a circle that works where he'll keep running into the tree pulp and it's all good. I'm so happy i completed this on crushing and found all the treasures in one go :L winning ON TO UNCHARTED 3

@SupremeYoshi its fine as long as you stay in cover and dont do anything stupid, like run in the open or try to close up on people when you should be shooting from a distance.

if they just added 1 checkpoint in the middle of the fight, or if he didnt run as fast as drake after the first cutscene, i could probably do this the normal way

Ive just completed UC2 on hard mode and it was pretty tough, now I know about this sneaky little hanging trick I think I will start my crushing playthrough :)

I knew on crushing I didn't want to risk spending a lot of time becoming frustrated; especially on something I've done technically once before (beating the game itself). Saved a lot of mental energy.
@luisitogangster no you have to do in order i did the last mission on hard then did all the other mission in order and hard didn't do the last mission again and no trophy so i had to do it again
@luisitogangster You can play out of order and still get the Crushing Trophy.
I did.
But you must save the game you have been playing on Crushing and load that saved game when you play out of order to get the trophy.
You can copy the saved game to a USB key - it is copied to a folder named "PS3" - transfer it to your PC or Mac, rename the folder, back it up, make duplicates, etc.
Then you can copy it back to your PS3 (remember to change the folder name back to "PS3") at a later date.
lol i beat lazarevic the easy way i was tired of running around shooting the blue sap so what i did was hang on the ledge of the rocks and stones and as he was by the blue stuff i shot it and it work and he couldnt damage me as much while im hanging

No, it's not hard; it's just completely unnecessary and stupid. What is the point og being chased for long minutes on end? Artificial intelligence does not allow him to follow BEHIND you. I found that he follows you on different angles every single time. how can you beat someone who doesn't sit still long enough to beat?

@dot191919 He's annoying as far as the given tactic on hard and crushing. Though I appreciate that he doesn't transform into some superbeast 12 stories tall and have 3 seperate forms each worse and cheaper than the last.
He's really just a really beefed up soldier with a shotgun. Shotguns are always cheap though.

i did it the hard way too... and heres a little bit of advice: when lazarevic is climbing on tpo of that block quickly throw grenade (they deal same amount of damage as that blue shit, it's little faster way :D )

i know an easeir way of beating him all u do is activate the one shot kills you use the glitch were you turn it easy then back to chrushing when activated on easy you shoot him he goes down to one health you blow a sap when he is next to it and he dies
This method didn't work for me at all. Its too slow. And if you get further enough, and then fail you've wasted like 20 minutes instead of the usual 5. I can get past the third cutscene using my other method, but I just can't beat the fourth round.
When I fought Lazarevic on Crushing mode, I beat him using the same strategy I always use: Run around the edges of the room, turning around only to shoot the blue orbs. If you don't see him coming from behind, then he's probably in the middle of the sap pit, so shoot the orbs near the middle. Sometimes, his grenades will blow up in his face, so you just gotta keep moving, repeat this process, and you'll win.
Something really strange happened . I was doin this mission on hard and it took me a couple of tries then on my final try i started and turned right shot one sap and then the end scene cut in , i only shot the tree once and it killed him wierd huh?
Charted - Crushing Trophy is the last one I need, but after the 1.05 update there's been new online trophies added. Will I still get my Platinum when I get Crushing done or do I have to do all the online ones aswell now?
Platinum is only for the trophies that came out when the game did. Any additional trophies do not count to platinum, but they will reduce the % of trophies achieved bar if you do not get them.
Train guy is easy! seriously. But lazarevic was hard! Luckily thanks to this vid, I manage to beat him! wt a relieve! I felt annoyed at the 1st time I was defeated when he spammed those grenades at me. Now he can't spammed grenades anymore with this strategy! thanks for posting the vid dude!
READREADTipp:Start on hard then u get 2Gold and 1silver in a row then u just have to play on crusshing -But first do other Trophy stuff like treasures then do it peacemeal on crushing I got Platin with this method...

Everyone is going on about how hard the train guy was. I did him the quickest i ever have on crushing, only took like two mins! But i cant beat Lazarevic, i only needed to shoot the sap once more and he wudda died but the game glitched and i cant get back to the same spot again... so i guess this is worth a go
@HeroicCucumber me too man... except it happened right before u go and meet the boss, and i had to go fix my disc cuz of that, it was so mean since i was so hyped up to beat the game...and it took like 2 days for me to have to the time to go get it cleaned

You unlock Crushing by finishing Hard (play entire game on Hard, not just select last chapter).
I haven't been able to use any weapon selects during Hard mode. I doubt one-shot-kills would be allowed. But there's the off-chance it will work.

This method didn't work for me at all. Its too slow. And if you get further enough, and then fail you've wasted like 20 minutes instead of the usual 5. I can get past the third cutscene using my other method, but I just can't beat the fourth round.

When I fought Lazarevic on Crushing mode, I beat him using the same strategy I always use: Run around the edges of the room, turning around only to shoot the blue orbs. If you don't see him coming from behind, then he's probably in the middle of the sap pit, so shoot the orbs near the middle. Sometimes, his grenades will blow up in his face, so you just gotta keep moving, repeat this process, and you'll win.
Trust me on this. I just beat him yesterday. :D

Something really strange happened . I was doin this mission on hard and it took me a couple of tries then on my final try i started and turned right shot one sap and then the end scene cut in , i only shot the tree once and it killed him wierd huh?

Another quick question.
Charted - Crushing Trophy is the last one I need, but after the 1.05 update there's been new online trophies added. Will I still get my Platinum when I get Crushing done or do I have to do all the online ones aswell now?

Platinum is only for the trophies that came out when the game did. Any additional trophies do not count to platinum, but they will reduce the % of trophies achieved bar if you do not get them.

You don't need to watch them. Just skip everyone you don't wanna watch, and you'll be awarded with the chrishing trophy once Lazarevic goes down. Hf

Train guy is easy! seriously. But lazarevic was hard! Luckily thanks to this vid, I manage to beat him! wt a relieve! I felt annoyed at the 1st time I was defeated when he spammed those grenades at me. Now he can't spammed grenades anymore with this strategy! thanks for posting the vid dude!

READREADTipp:Start on hard then u get 2Gold and 1silver in a row then u just have to play on crusshing -But first do other Trophy stuff like treasures then do it peacemeal on crushing I got Platin with this method...

i like ur tactics and all for the last boss, but its no fun like that, the first time i played the boss on normal, i kinda sucked and it took me like 5 tries, but i liked how it made me sweat and i plan on the doing the same for crushing

Everyone is going on about how hard the train guy was. I did him the quickest i ever have on crushing, only took like two mins! But i cant beat Lazarevic, i only needed to shoot the sap once more and he wudda died but the game glitched and i cant get back to the same spot again... so i guess this is worth a go

@HeroicCucumber me too man... except it happened right before u go and meet the boss, and i had to go fix my disc cuz of that, it was so mean since i was so hyped up to beat the game...and it took like 2 days for me to have to the time to go get it cleaned
