It was this match that Vince and Trip "bonded" like steel said Trip. It was after this match that Vince really started to teach Hunter the business from his views. Basically, Trip was standing in Macho Man Randy Savage's spot! Vince wanted Randy to take over the spot when he retired one day. Randy sleeps with a 17 year old Steph in Detroit, Elizabeth divorces Randy, Randy leaves WWF and the rest is history. Vince never wanted Randy's name mentioned again. His heart was broken by Savage.
I sometimes wonder how they were gonna finish the storyline in which Vince was (supposedly) blown up in his limo. Unfortunately, I believe Owen passed away and they scrapped the storyline when VKM had to make a formal announcement. I had always thought they were gonna pin it on Stone Cold - How they were gonna bring him back from the dead - I had heard on idea was by saying it was a set up to see who was loyal to VKM. Its wrestyling - It doesn't have to make sense.
@SeanMBryans Actually, it wasn't Owen- it was Chris Benoit's double murder-suicide. I'm pretty sure you can find it here on youtube if you search "Remembering Chris Benoit - 06/25/2007 - RAW: Corpus Christi, TX [Part 1/13]"
always said credit to the mcmahons none of them are career wrestlers and they've between them been in some of the most extreme matches of all time credit to them
@JezebelSkarsgard buddy it's fake u know all this story is fake he is married to her and living verry happy they just made that so they can entertain us ....and they did ...i mean we all know it's fake except for the high flying things and it's scripted but it's sure as hell need a lot of talent ...and we all just love it...I LOVE IT...u hear them talking to each other in the match btw LOL but as is sayed it's awesome
When Vince escaped from almost getting runned over, did you see how high Vince is when he is hanging off that ledge? Down below looks like a parking lot.
@sumrandomguy3 they are still relitivly new as a business, at this time when wwf turned attitude, they had been going for quite some time and had big budgets, tna not so much right now but give them time and their matches will improve
@sublime0nightmare They had good matches, they still have great talent but they have Bischoff, Hogan and Russo overbooking very simple things, and creating a confusing, really backwards product
you know, looking back. this match should have been a red flag as to who was involved in the Austin hit and run. I mean this was the second PPV in a row that involved HHH, a car, and in this case an attempted hit. Now I kno that no one would have assumed this, but now, it seems rather logical.
ee Vince you could be amazing! Why you sold out all of your fans I will never know but you will never have the respect you once did until you return the WWE to this. High emotion, high intensity= high entertainment and high profits. The PG crap is what let WCW kick your ass for an untold ammount of weeks and it was the attitude era that saved your company. How could you turn your back on all of your fans? Please return the WWE to its proper place before it's too late.
"the Machine Gun right into mcmahons face"
could be also mean HEADSHOT=DEAD xD
