  • I have just finished watching the entire West Wing over here in England. Enjoyed every single episode but this one with Big Bird in It is my best every episode. I still laugh out loud every time I see it. Thanks America for a wonderful series.

  • I want to be CJ when I grow up. LOL!!

  • what ep is this?

  • I Love this episode of the West Wing, all of those bad Big Bird jokes. LOL!

  • One of the funniest scenes in WW!

  • One of the funniest moments ever on West Wing and not a single line of dialogue. Magnificent.

  • i love the very beginning when people are walking around big bird like seeing him at the white houswe is an everyday thing. nobody questions it when he sits next to cj.

    haha

  • As always, Caroll Spinney's comedic timing is superb.

  • I just laughed out loud in the street thinking about this scene, and had to watch it again. CJ - legend.

  • LMAO!!!!

How the hell could anyone keep a straight face in a scene like that? You're sitting next to Big Bird!!!

  • I Can't stop laughing.

  • oh wow

  • I still don't know who's taller

  • @sweetp86 I believe I found an answer, according Allison Janney's biography in IMBD it says that she's 6 feet tall, 2 feet shorter than Big Bird's height and Big Bird's height is 8 feet tall, so therefore Big Bird is the tallest.

  • Ok now I have seen it all now

  • This is currently being shared with the cast of the hit Broadway Musical, 9 to 5, in which Allison Janney stars.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA coooooooooool :D

  • That is hilarious beyond words...

  • I agree :D

  • How did Big Bird ger clearance from thje secret service to get into the WH? I mean, BB basically has no fixed address, lives on the street in a nest in a vacant lot but not even a mailing address. Best friend we don't even know where he lives-just shows up.

  • And one of his best friend, lives in a garbage bin. I mean, doesn't checking security background involve checking your closest friend as well???

  • Let's not forget another of his best friends who is the litteral deffinition of an illegal alien... and of course the accusations that two others are gay. He'd be CJ's PR nightmare... then add to it all the jokes she gets. BB's lucky she didn't swat him with her purse.

  • Wait... which one's the illegal alien?

  • Gonzo.

  • Oh, I see.

  • lol, that's awesome!

  • I don't get this.

  • You don't watch the show do ya?

  • I've seen an episode of the West Wing and know the premise of it, and i have seen sesame street.

  • Ummm.... ok so you don't remember her code name with the secret service or the episode where they were calling her a basket ball champion, lesbian, etc? Or maybe you just like to snark things for giggles...

  • I don't remember the episode...ok, gotcha.

  • Sorry. Anyways....this was the episode where Abby was going on Sesame St for P.R. after her suspension and Elmo asks her if she has a medical license....

  • I WISH THAT HAPPEND TO ME. But I Already See Big Bird On Set In 2003

  • Flamingo meet Big Bird. Big Bird me Flamingo. lol

  • aaah i pretty much died laughing at every big bird/allison janney joke throughout the episode. particularly charlie haha! i still giggle every time i think about this scene -- thanks for uploading!

  • thank you :)

  • WTF!

  • Hahahaha.. That's Great.. and big bird looks sooo innocent. hahahahaha..

  • I didn't watch once Sorkin left. What the heck was the context of this?

  • Abbey Bartlet plays doctor on Sesame Street in this epi. She is giving Elmo a check up in an effort to soften up her public image.

  • As much as I love Sorkin...the west wing still rocked after he left. Way better than anything else on t.v.

  • that was very smart IMHO. I couldn't resist and kept watching...now the series has a tarnish in my eyes, I should've just stuck to seasons 1-4

  • I think it was great that there was no script here; it'd have ruined perfection! x

  • Big Bird was actually pardoned by Bartlet for Thanksgiving.

  • man, they werent kidding when they named him big bird

  • Yep; especially since he makes Alison Janney look short.

  • I think half the point of this sight gag is due to some Season 5 comments that continually alude to CJ being Big Bird compared to other people because she's so tall. The other half is cause it's Big Bird ^.^

  • While TWW doesn't do a lot of visual gags, the few they do (like this one) are hilarious!

  • One of the (few) highlights from Season 5.

  • Hah, agreed. "Han" was a good episode. That was about it.

  • The only actor taller than Janney. LOL!! Luv ya, Allison!

  • this is too much. big bird is moving his head a little (probably cuz it's heavy) and it looks like he's dancing to a song only he hears. excellent.

  • How come Big Bird didn't speak in this? I was expecting that!

  • i'm going to guess it's because Caroll Spinney wasn't there when they shot this.

  • Great moment! Thanx for putting this on YT.

  • what the hell? xD!!

  • Poor Big Bird!!!

  • Perfection :)

  • One of the best West Wing moments ever! I love them both!

  • Hahaha. So true. Thanks for commenting =)
