  • Cool

  • Drop G tuning will be sufficient.

  • most bands tune half a step down now

  • i almost thought it was Billie Joe Armstrong for a second,

  • i have a tuner, but everytime i tune it down from the 6th string(E) it just goes to 7 B

is that what its supposed to look like on the tuner?

  • I just want to say thanks for pointing out that when you change the E string to sound like the 4th string D, it should be the same pitch as d but an octave lower. At first, I was trying to make the E string sound exactly like the 4th string d. This may seem like common sense to those who are more experienced but for beginners, not so. Thanks again.

  • easier way just use the 6th string 7th fret to tune.

it shuld sound like 5th string open. that's how u get drop d faster. instead.

  • the guy at the end sings alot like the singer from switchfoot

  • @marrag1 That is the lead singer from switchfoot roflcopter

  • @brt927 oh wow seriously lol i nvr knew his name lol and i use to like switchfoot too

  • whats lower drop b or drop d?

  • drop b

  • drop b

  • can u show us drop A tunning

  • what the hell, how would that break ur guitar

  • well apparently ppl like you are ignorant to the fact that a guitar neck isn't able to adjust on its own to different tensions you idiot. dropped A is pointless, and one of the lowest tunings on a guitar, and by going from virtually any tuning to dropped A would wreck your neck. so yea, owned

  • depends what strings you have..

if you have 12's, (high tension strings..)

it would not break your neck, but going into drop A with 10's would.

    owned.

  • I didnt mention these strings, bc most ppl dont have them unless theyre already in the tuning itself. so if someone with strings for standard E tuning tried to drop to A, they WOULD wreck their guitar. so yea your comment is irrelevant. thanks for your worthless input. :)

  • "But i dont have a digital tuner...all i have is a chromatic tuner " ...?

    OMGWTF!!!

    ^^

  • i lol'd when i saw that comment

  • what distortion pedal do you use?

  • Anus-Drive

  • jus push the first string at fret 2 and tune to e.

  • or use harmonics.

7th fret on the 6th string, 12th fret on 5th string.

  • or u can just use a tuner...

  • But i dont have a digital tuner...all i have is a chromatic tuner

  • those also work for it. those are actually better for drop tuning cuz u can get more tunings

  • That makes no sense.

  • i agree, i have NO fucking clue y i said that... possibly i was less educated at that point but i rly dont know

  • Haha, it's all good, as long as you can laugh at yourself. XD

  • buy one? its 50 dollars?

  • But this technique is good for tuning on the spot, like at a gig or something
