You are at Capital Forest gravel shooting pit! I go there often. So is the Puma rifle the one for sale at Cascade Arms? If it is it is a nice rifle .If yours, why sell?
@HighSpeedNoDrag I have arthritis in my hands and shoulders, so it's really hard for me to do it correctly, heck, I can barely do it anyway. This is my favorite rifle, so as long as I can chamber a round, I'm happy.
i have a Puma model 92 in .454 as well, but mine has real trouble feeding any 45 colt. I have tried numerous factory loads and experimented with many different handloads, changing the OAL and crimp on them, but it just likes the longer casings. What .45 colt rounds were you using in yours?
@LittleMaggot50 I have, but my hands just don't work that good any more. My younger friends don't have a problem, it's not the rifle, it's me. I'm falling apart.
This past summer a gun shop owner told me that there were only fifty 30-06 saigas imported into the states. I don't know if that is true. I've only seen the one I have.
@TimHemi thought long and hard to get it but i dont need another weapon with expensive ammo looks and feels great! thanks brother, enjoy the puma!

@GlockPunisher1 Its not mine that's for sale. I bought the Puma while I was in Alaska, it's one of my favorite rifles.

I still think the 30/30 is the best all around lever action, such a versatile gun but the .454 is quite the pistol round though.

Wouldn't it be fun to have a matched sit of model 92s, a .357 magnum, a .44 magnum and a .454 Casull?

You need to learn to work the lever action w/ eyes on line of sight and not bringing the weapon downward off target, etc.
