It definitely works on PAL if nobody else had pointed this out (Though I don't understand why it would be any different, the game physics wouldn't be changed for PAL/NTSC as far as I'm aware, there'd be no point) . I used to do this with my bro 10 years ago on the original and it still works on anniversary. I'm from England so... Yeah. ;)

I'll add a link to this in my bridge descent guide. I like that you pointed out the black spots as a guide, but you forgot to say that the fall won't work on PAL (or so I believe). There doesn't seem to be enough traction to stop from sliding off the ledge. Also, you gave three ways down to the ground but there are two others in my vid BCM29, the first of which can be done quite safely. I don't know if they're good for NTSC and PC though. Maybe you could try them?

@BadCyborgMovies My bad about neglecting PAL. I'll edit the title and description. As for other ways to reach the ground, I wasn't looking to outline every way to get to the ground, just the three most common methods.

@SnipedaWhoOp Ha ha, Europe accepts your apology I'm sure. As for methods of reaching the ground from the snowy ledge, it was just the way you worded it, made it sound like you thought there were only those three methods, that's all. Incidentally, as a PAL user I've never been able to do that vertical drop from the bridge either (0:38). Again it seems to be a problem of traction. Can't stay on at the bottom.

Nice. I think this is the most detailed tutorial I've seen for the bridge fall. In all the years I've watched runs for this level, I'm ashamed to say that I've never been able to survive the fall before. Maybe it's time to fire up the disc again.
