@chaz03 They are how you define what MIDI channel the FatMan is listening for on the MIDI input line.

If I remember correctly they should be all down for MIDI channel 1, but the manual has all the info on it to be sure!

i was given a fatman by a friend of mine and never used it or seen one but ive been trying to understand how this thing works seems simple but im missing something. i have a korg ms2000r, an axiom 49 and i wanted to hook it up through the fat man. my axiom is my keyboard for the ms2k. do i just run a midifrom the out on the ms2k to the midi in on the fatboy then audio out to my speakers. i cant seem to get it to work properly. any help would be greatly appreciated man.

If you run the midi out from the MS2K to the fatman, you will probably need to tell it to pass the midi from the keyboard through to the fatman.

I would hook the keyboard up straight to the fatman and test it out that way, then once that is working, go from there with the other stuff.

I just hooked mine up to a Korg Electribe E-MX1(groovebox/sequencer) which is hooked to a Korg MicroKontrol keyboard. Works great, just gotta remember the Fatman is only listening on MIDI CH 1.

Yea, it was hooked to the midi output of a Korg drum machine.
