Is there a tool that does this automatically going by the video audio? TVs have tool to make shows in another language have English subtitles, Makes sense that they'd have a similar option for PC.

Do you wish to translate: Only comes up on some videos. I realize it applies to the comments and the youtube suggestions. Is there anyway I can get it to offer translation on everythihng that is not in English, or is it at the option of the person who puts up the video?

hi, thanks for the explanation. i followed it and could make the subtitle but i still face a little problem. I have the subtitle if i am viewing the video under the edit option (if i go to edit and then to add caption and subtitle) but when i view the video from the video page, no subtitle is shown! you have any idea how to solve it?

OMG! YouTube translates everything to my language and I don't want it to translate. If I search for something English then it translates all results to my language which is really stupid because then I won't know video's real title. If someone knows how to get it off please tell me!!

It is easy to make translation and subtitles on dotsub, but I don't like ..

1. to slow uploading (opening video)..(and my internet connection is not to slow

2. video is not free ,it is bound to open in dotsub.com

3. if I download translated video to my HD subtitles are not there!

maybe I don't know how to do it..plz explain who knows!

@ultradude100 If you got the English text then you can use text to audio and dub the audio KMplayer even has a build in voice so on that media player you can let it talk your subtitles thus you wont have to read then I rather read cos the computer voices sound wacko imo Talking subs go on top of the chinese so hard to understand For lectures and documentaries it works Cos then you just put new audio under the graphics For movies not cos you miss soundfx No way out fx and voiceareonsameaudiotrack

...if u check in the tags actually it says "impared" not "impaired".also if u write on a spell checker or something it says impaired as a correction..i just said it's a wrong spelling.not the end of the world ;).anyway.u can check if u dont believe me.

Here a kicker, lets say you have a very long video that is very verbose you don't wanna type all that out so what if you were to use windows speak recognition and have it type it out for you. Just a helpful hint.

lol nice man, I tried ur videos and translate it to Chinese (I know it). But next time when u do transcriptions, just 1 advice, don't really use the word "thing" that much because when Youtube translate it, it translate it to "events". So it's like "I'm going to install this thing" to "I'm going to install this event" which doesn't make sense.
