When shinedown first came out they were fairly heavy and dark. In the insert of their first record it says this record was written for the dreamers, for the people who have been cast out of society for being different or for having an opinion. Basically for outsiders. And now most of their fanbase is dipshits in affliction shirts and slutty college girls who think they have taste in music.

I was at this show for about half an hour and the frat boys in front of me with their fraternity shirts on felt the need to stand up through the whole fucking show as if they were bigger fans than everyone else and I got kicked out for almost getting into a fight with them. It was at that point I realized 90 percent of people who go to shinedown shows are douchebags. It won't be long before people bring beach balls to their shows a la nickelback.

@hapigrl0313 the vocals are different because it is a acoustic performance, they change it on purpose to sound better with the change of instruments. Appreciate it for what it is, a fantastic raw version of the song, not a synthesized digitally altered version. For a live acoustic version, all of the 'live from Kansas City" songs are awesome.

I LOVE this band seriously! but it pisses me off that when they are live, the vocals change range!!! omg DONT record high if you cant hold out live!!! UGH!!!! He has an amazing voice but chooses to sing in another key totally live!!
