If your heart stops your brain still functions for a period of time even without brain wave detection so technically you would not be dead, if you remain in that state for a specific time then your brain completely dies because lack of blood flow .........and you're dead.

God can't just use his powers directly to save people, silly. People would then be overly reliant and dependent on Him. He works in miraculous ways, He is the one who sent these wonderful medical staff to take care of her. Finally, He came to the conclusion that it was not her time to go, so she returned. @GretzkyTheWonderDog That's not miraculous at all. He basically serves the same purpose as someone calling an ambulance after they see someone get severely injured, and then claiming credit when the doctors fix the person up.
With that explanation, you seem to be "overly reliant and dependent" (describing something using two synonyms doesn't make you sound smarter, by the way) on your god, since, to you, if there wasn't a god, those doctors wouldn't exist.
Well I can assure you that I was not trying to make myself sound any smarter by using TWO synonyms (how dare I use TWO synonyms in a sentence =/). I am not overly reliant on God, because I still go to school everyday to work towards my degree. I still socialize with my friends, I still work my job. Everything is planned out for me by Him, but I still need to work for it. I know God is 100% real, but let me just just ask you one more question (please look at the second reply).

I know for a fact that God exists. IF you are right, and He doesn't exist, I would still have lived a morally just and guilt-free Christian life before I pass on. As I've stated before, I DO NOT know whether it is a choice or hereditary. However, what falls under the category of a choice? Does a choice HAVE TO be a conscious decision? I.E. "Okay today I've made a choice to be attracted to women." Could it be something built up slowly within one's subconsciousness by the flesh? I.E. You take a glance of the same sex and you feel the slightest bit of pleasure, and over the years it slowly builds up and turns into homosexuality.

She seems to have wisdom of how to protect the integrity of herself with religious insight into the human nature too. that happen to my dad he was in the hospital and he died twice it was so hard for me and i never went and saw him because it was hard for to see him like that and then they put him in a coma and he was on all these machines i wanted to remember as he was and not remember him hooked up to machines he later woke up and now i see him and he is getting better
i was brain dead no blood pressure no pulse no liver and kidny function extremely swolen and ice to the touch for a week in a coma and came back with all my mind. living on life support with 1% chance to live

Imagine how grateful her family feels. Like they got a second chance! My mom was hit by a car a bit ago and even though her injuries were bad, they were not life threatening, but that accident could have killed her. Today we celebrated her birthday and we thank god we still got to have her around in our lives!

I've grown up in a high class family, and I don't view myself any more important than somebody who lives in a trailer. All I'm saying is doctors do work. They save lives every day. I got out of bed and went into the living room to read my bible when a semi truck drove thru my bedroom. A blessing from god saved me. Later I fell off the roof and broke my arm and leg. This is another great blessing from god because I could have broken my other arm and leg. I was robbed of $10,000 which was a blessing from god because I might have bought a car with the money and been injured in an accident. God is good.

Religion is a bond to a group identity/ideology which is not influenced by reason. Most atheists believe in naturalism as atheism tells what they do not believe. Third, my uncle happens to be a road construction worker and they make much more than what you think they do. Do you thank a janitor when he cleans a public bathroom for you? It's his job and chosen profession. The doctor wanted an extravagant life the janitor didn't. I understand the work of the doctor and I also understand he gets paid about 20x the janitor.
If the doctor wanted praise he would work for a charity where he's paid little and not at a hospital where he is paid millions. The money they receive is thank you enough.
@davitodudeIt's nice to say thank you to everyone who does something to help others. Regardless of their pay. A lot of people do it because they genuinely want to help people and do something important. It takes years of commitment and study. The money is the payoff for all the hard work they put in and continue to put in. The thanks is because they chose work that helps others.
@davitodude Actually, I have told a couple janitors that they have done great jobs in the past. I know what a pain in the butt their job is and how easy it is to cut corners, but I have run into some that put in an excellent effort considering their work conditions and low pay. The only reason that I haven't done it more often is because I usually don't have the opportunity.

And the suicides of gays born into Christian families? No one forced them to commit suicide, but I can see how stress from their "Christian" family members would force them to commit such a deed. Homosexuality is a sin, yes. But that does not make homosexuals different from any other Christian. All people sin, and the only one who didn't was Jesus Christ. If ALL sinners were given a second chance, who said that homosexuals wouldn't get the same? Once again, only God has the final say.

No, but homosexuality was forced on them. You can't make someone straight, since you can't choose your sexual orientation. A gay person can act straight, but they will never BE straight. What god does is give some people the ability to be with the person they love, but take that ability away from others if they want to get into heaven.

No that is definitely not true. I can see where you might have gotten that notion from i.e. radical Christians who speak for themselves and not God. Like I stated before gay people are people too, so they should be treated as people. No one ever said that Christians have to hate gays, that was probably made up by some maniacal idiot who believes he speaks for God. Families should show compassion and love to their gay family members like they would with straight family members.

As I've stated before, I DO NOT know whether it is a choice or hereditary. However, what falls under the category of a choice? Does a choice HAVE TO be a conscious decision? I.E. "Okay today I've made a choice to be attracted to women." Could it be something built up slowly within one's subconsciousness by the flesh? I.E. You take a glance of the same sex and you feel the slightest bit of pleasure, and over the years it slowly builds up and turns into homosexuality.

Don't know about you, but I was aware of all my decisions.
If that was the case, all people would be gay or bisexual. Most little kids are practically terrified of the opposite gender, after all. But even then, that wouldn't be a choice. Kids would be turning gay or bisexual around their friends.

Yes, they are afraid of the opposite sex. That is, until they hit puberty. Puberty is basically a major turning point in a person's life. It basically marks biologically maturity. It might have killed Jimmy before puberty to talk to Sarah, but after puberty, he can't get enough of Sarah.
I don't get where you got the notion that everyone would be a homosexual. It's not like kids find attraction in the same sex. At a young age, boys don't like girls, NOR do they like boys.

She seems to have wisdom of how to protect the integrity of herself with religious insight into the human nature too. With such skills a person can endure much better than others without them, and recover better because she lives in wise spirited ways and does not strain herself by stupid habits. So this seems to me a real miracle, not a fake, not any negligience of the doctors either. If she is still alive, one could interview her about wisdom of life that she wants to teach!

that happen to my dad he was in the hospital and he died twice it was so hard for me and i never went and saw him because it was hard for to see him like that and then they put him in a coma and he was on all these machines i wanted to remember as he was and not remember him hooked up to machines he later woke up and now i see him and he is getting better

Imagine how grateful her family feels. Like they got a second chance! My mom was hit by a car a bit ago and even though her injuries were bad, they were not life threatening, but that accident could have killed her. Today we celebrated her birthday and we thank god we still got to have her around in our lives!

I've grown up in a high class family, and I don't view myself any more important than somebody who lives in a trailer. All I'm saying is doctors do work. They save lives every day. I almost died when I was a kid and the doctors and nurses in my local hospital saved me. It doesn't matter how much more money I make than anybody, I'm not ignorant like that.

I got out of bed and went into the living room to read my bible when a semi truck drove thru my bedroom. A blessing from god saved me. Later I fell off the roof and broke my arm and leg. This is another great blessing from god because I could have broken my other arm and leg. I was robbed of $10,000 which was a blessing from god because I might have bought a car with the money and been injured in an accident. God is good.

@omgitsthatguyandy we have tons of doctors but no docters are clever than each other they should stop students taking medicine and educate educated doctors cause they are all dip shits cause they just make things worse.

@xxdeejinxx First off, I never said anything about what doctors deserve. Secondly, I am a working class man, but I believe that credit should be given where it is due. Third, my uncle happens to be a road construction worker and they make much more than what you think they do. Lastly, I don't know about you, but if I would much rather have my appendix removed by a doctor than a "street worker".

@candyman657 Pulse dead for more than 10 minutes is biological death and irreversible... Pulse dead for less that 10 seconds is clinical death and can be reverse by CPR.. :) just a simple thought... no hurt feelings.

@davitodude So, pretty much the money that she paid the hospital should be thanks enough? Unless the family gave the hospital something extra, that's not really thanks. That's just paying somebody for their work. Imagine, if you work you butt off to get a job done faster, and more efficient. It would suck to hear people telling a co-worker "Great job today," even though they didn't see that person slacking all day, but not saying anything to you right? The same thing applies here.

Do you thank a janitor when he cleans a public bathroom for you? It's his job and chosen profession. The doctor wanted an extravagant life the janitor didn't. I understand the work of the doctor and I also understand he gets paid about 20x the janitor.
If the doctor wanted praise he would work for a charity where he's paid little and not at a hospital where he is paid millions. The money they receive is thank you enough.

@davitodudeIt's nice to say thank you to everyone who does something to help others. Regardless of their pay. A lot of people do it because they genuinely want to help people and do something important. It takes years of commitment and study. The money is the payoff for all the hard work they put in and continue to put in. The thanks is because they chose work that helps others.

@davitodude Actually, I have told a couple janitors that they have done great jobs in the past. I know what a pain in the butt their job is and how easy it is to cut corners, but I have run into some that put in an excellent effort considering their work conditions and low pay. The only reason that I haven't done it more often is because I usually don't have the opportunity.
