Wow, oh yeah, 5 bucks a gallon?? The highest I've paid here in Birmingham, AL was $3.79. I filled up this morning and paid, $3.41. The price of gas has dropped here in the last 2 and a half weeks, by .37 cents. I've seen lower gas prices through out the county. So why is there still all this talk from the right wingers about rising gas prices??
ACCORDING TO OBAMA, GAS IS GOING TO BE $5/ GALLON BY MEMORIAL DAY. OBAMA SAID TO "GET USE TO IT" AND "TRADE YOUR CAR IN FOR AN ENERGY EFFICIENT CAR." I THINK I'LL KEEP MY CAR, AND TRADE IN MY PRESIDENT:-)(REPOST IF YOU WANT OBAMA TO GET USED TO BEING A ONE TERM PRESIDENT
I doubt gas will get to $10/gallon within the next 10-20 years or so, but it WILL invariably hit $5/gallon eventually, and it will probably be sometime during the next couple months. And oil will almost certainly be somewhere around $180/barrel before that shit with Libya gets over and done with, and possibly even higher.
Hopefully I'm right about gas not getting to $10/gallon, because then this country would be in a Greater Depression. MUCH greater than we could ever have anticipated.
Try filling up in the UK, NOW! Close to $2ltr. Over $8 a gallon! And on the way up $10 by 2012! Without breaking sweat
Ok less distance to cover but smaller cars help:- if your runing anything under 40 mpg in the uk your not on the road or youve just got enough cash to burn! Soon we will be how china and idea were :- ON A BIKE!
We are super fucked at 5.00 a gallon. last time gas was 4 bucks in 2008, the USA economy hit the wall. The USA can not take these prices, and no one has got a raise over inflation in the USA in the last 40 years.
The government loves higher fuel prices. Why? Taxes on fuel and the amount of revenue captured by the price increase. As fuel taxes go up so do taxes on all goods and services which means even more money we pay in taxes. You don't have to add new taxes, just raise prices and taxes go up automatically. If we all went outside tomorrow and our cars ran on water this government would collapse due to lost tax revenue from fuel.
F G. Beck but Fuel Saver Magnet Ionizer Save Gas, Better MPG, Better Fuel Economy get this device ww.engineperformancechip(dot)com/performance-chips-c-1/fuel-saving-system-performance-fuel-ionizer-p-4 Watch installation w.youtube(dot)com/watch?v=oFKcRkx-UMw&feature=related plus tornado fuel saver w.tornadofuel-saver(dot)com watch installation w.youtube(dot)com/watch?v=HEWWu12bRK8&feature=related equals 10+ mpg gain using both
Beck is an american coward. He even compared himself in a broadcast to Corporal Upham who was the coward on the stairwell in the movie saving private ryan. His job like all mainstream news is to spread rhetoric. Do you really want to listen to a coward talk to you? A coward who is leading you on.
Europe and many other first world countries have between $5 and $10 dollar gas. The reason for that is TAX. and if its not an honest tax as a percentage of income or on consumption like fuel then it comes in the form of inflation when printing money. So It makes sense for gas prices to be pushed up or dollar value to fall so it appears the price of fuel has increased and especially with high debit levels America has.
Funny. With Democrats in charge, our gas prices managed to stay below $3/gallon even when Glen Beck w/ Faux news thought otherwise. Now that we have Republicans or I should say, mostly neo-conservatives in charge, as we head into December 2010 gas prices are now finally getting near $5/gallon. Something tells me the gas prices now don't have anything to do with the oil spill - it's all to do with less regulation from the government and the big oil companies and PAC contributions to Republicans.
this is all information from CNN gas prices regular/gallon Cuba Havana $3.03 Brazil Brasilia $3.12 Estonia Tallinn $3.62 Romania Bucharest $4.09 Spain Madrid $4.55 Luxembourg $4.82 France Paris $5.54 United Kingdom London $5.79 and get this.... Netherlands Amsterdam $6.48 i don't think that Americans have the right to complain
instead of going to war in Iraq, maybe we could've spent those trillions on developing alternative fuels, but NO...we wasted 8 years to chase after Arabs and now we are going to be screwed...BUSH is already the worst president ever in the history of the United States. If George Washington were alive today, he would Kill Bush with his saber and cut his head off as a traitor to America.
@dalecampbl7 Bush is the worst president? U obviously dont know history. I would say Bush is definitely not at all good but Obama I think is worse than Bush. Woodrow Wilson, Hoover, and FDR also rank high on the worst president list.
@31guitar that's such blasphemy...you ranked Woodrow Wilsom and FDR up there with Hoover? Hoover, I agree is shit, because he ran on the GOP ticket and followed its dogmas, along with Coolidge and WG Harding, 3 consecutive GOPs before the Great Depression...FDR and Woodrow Wilson are consistently ranked near the top of the GREATEST presidents this country has had. You must be smoking crack cocaine. Bush gave us a recession when America was not facing dire external pressures. Amazing
@dalecampbl7 Wilson was a liar, a racist, arrested people who spoke against the war, and he caused the recession in 1920. Warren Harding got us out of that recession within 18 months. Harding is only known for his scandals which are nothing compared to today. Coolidge continued to cut taxes and lower the deficit, this sparked the roaring 20's.
@dalecampbl7 Hoover was a progressive republican. He had bloated government and basically did what Wilson did, raised the deficit and raised taxes and it helped cause the great depression. FDR's new deal did absolutely zero. It extended the great depression actually. The only good thing he did was get america off the gold standard. He called for a new bill of rights, which would've turned this country into a socialist one. Bush did cause a problem, and Obama is making much worse
The scary thing is... people watch this guy every day, and use him as their ONLY source of information.
I'm sure this guy is doing it all for the money, he's a talking head whore just like Rachel Madow, Sean Hanity, and Keith Olberman, but the upsetting part of it is that so many people blindly believe them all. American politics is really sad.
He is the only one that want's a better America, yet everyone say's hes stupid, idiotic. retarded ect, it fiqures, people don't want a better America, they wan't what will benifit themselves more.
You know what I like about beck... he is the only reporter on tv that will thell the American people the truth. You can go to every newschannel and listen to all the crap about, "Breaking news huge oil spill, 100 million dolar oil spill, but gass prices will not rise. Everybody stay calm don't hate the gov't." But Beck comes on and says, "Listen america, gas is going up, be ready prepare , its sad but its the truth."
@31guitar The whore on tv is insisting that every gallon of oil drilled in america is consumed by America. Which it's not. In fact, 100% of oil drilled in the Gulf of Mexico in 2008 was EXPORTED to other countries, because the private companies can make a buck by selling it elsewhere. Now, I don't have a problem with that, but I do have a problem with this whore on tv putting a spin on the issue.
@velcroboy60000 He said that? Really? I didnt hear it. Its obvious your making up what hes saying in your head. Your a moron. Btw, do u have a source for your "fact"? Obama is gonna use this as an excuse to stop offshore drilling and the gas prices will sky rocket. Just because your in denial doesn't make us crazy
@31guitar That's exactly it, he never directly 'said' it. He just suggests it. He doesn't make the accusation directly, he just makes a lot of assertions which make the viewer think something. What he does has the same effect of him saying it directly.
And my source for this information is the U.S. Energy Information Administration. And it turns out the percentile was 43% in 2008, not 100%. My bad. Go look into this issue yourself. Don't just blindly take Mr. Beck's word for it.
@velcroboy60000 a government source. Hmm, how trustworthy is that? Well, the government said healthcare was for our benefit, yet members of congress dont even want it. The government also had to make up districts in states and exaggerate numbers when showing us what jobs were "created" during the stimulus package. Btw, that stimulus package that "saved" us from a great depression, only 1/3 spent. Until that red phone rings, I think I'll take Beck's word over Obama's
@31guitar *facepalm* The EIA is a statistics gathering agency. They don't have an agenda. They don't ask for things to happen. They don't do anything about stupid healthcare, or stupid stimulus packages, or stupid job creation numbers. It's just a BORING statistics gathering agency.
Come on... do you really thing anything associated with the government is associated with Obama's stupid agenda?
@velcroboy60000 Uhh, yeah. This man is going completely out of his way to discredit anything that is negative about him and he exaggerates anything to make himself look good.
@31guitar Are you referring to yourself? Seriously, is this some kind of joke? I made a statement, you asked for a source. When I provided the source, and corrected myself, you insisted that it was not good enough, and then began ranting about a list of other topics that weren't even related to the original discussion.
At this point, all signs are pointing towards you being a joke comment poster, replying just for the sake of engaging in what you believe to be a silly and unimportant argument.
@velcroboy60000 U provided a very unreliable source, which is why I insist it is no good. But, assuming the 43% is right, that doesn't change the fact that a majority of the oil is consumed by America and will hurt our economy
@31guitar If you could provide a better source, please do. And my point is that 43% is far too much for these oil companies to be giving away so THEY can make money, while WE can't even produce half the oil we consume. It increases our dependence on foreign oil from Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, and Venezuela. (I don't have a problem with Canada and Mexico)
Plus, it was 43% in 2008, but 40% in 2007, and 31% in 2006. That's a trend I don't want to continue.
@velcroboy60000 I couldn't agree more. The oil companies are trying to reep a big profit. We do need to rely less on the middle east and increase offshore drilling, something I think Obama is against and will use the oil spill as an excuse to stop off shore drilling.
@31guitar Don't worry. He'd be committing political suicide if he ended offshore drilling. Sure, that might boost his approval rating amongst his base, but what good will that do him? Remember how Obama made a big racket 3 weeks before this oil spill about how he's in favor of offshore drilling? Purely political move. He did that only after closing drilling areas in February 2009.
Obama is just another silly politician. Nothing special.
@treez78 i agree with you 100% on Palin stumping for McCain...That really didn't sit well with me at all...it was like she sold-out on her principles and everything she has said by stumping for that stooge...However, for as much as i don't like it, i DO understand it...if it wasn't for McCain, then Palin wouldn't be a household name (and perhaps the same could be said in reverse)...i wish she'd cut her ties with that hypocritical old man and admit he's part of the problem; not the solution.
@treez78 think of it like this: Neo-cons are progressive-light...Liberals are a heavy dose of progressivism...Progressivism is a cancer...Libertarianism is closest to what our Founders believed in...Beck = Libertarian...Palin is closer to Libertarian than towards Republican...She understands the political machine...So does Ron Paul...Do you criticize him for having an "R" next to his name? Bush = Neo-Con...i don't see Palin or Beck anywhere near what Bush believed in.
@treez78 i do think "neo-cons" represent the majority of Americans...We ARE a "center-right" nation, which is exactly what the "neo-con" philosophy caters towards...You criticize Palin and Beck, yet they are both Conservative-Libertarians (like myself)...They recognize that our military is the best in the world and they support unleashing it's full wrath to achieve victory...i think that is the whole point of having a military...if you go to war, you do everything you can to win it.
This makes no sense, the price of oil is determined by international supply and demand. If the United States withdrawing from oil production doubled the price, it would imply that the United States was producing half the supply of oil. But that isn't even close to being true. Maybe if Iran and Saudi Arabia withdrew production.
This is just all rhetoric. I don't know why people fall for it.
@kolomgorov And Saudi Arabia would never just raise the price for the hell of it.... oh wait, they already did just a few years ago.... and yes, they blamed it on supply and demand... and then we found out that some middle eastern oil producing countries are broke, just like the USA, cause they have bad spending habits also...
Let's hope and pray that gas prices don't go that high. We have enough idiots in our Congress that would do anything, but luckily they will be gone come November.
People this was a PLANNED event! Obama announces that he is willing to DRILL, and use COAL and nuclear energy. A. the colemine "ACCIDENT: B. the oilwell "ACCIDENT" seems a bit fishy to me. sure does bring out an argument for Obama's GREEN ENERGY!!!!
@treez78 Take the "world's smallest political quiz"...Find out what the different political stances are really all about and where you really stand...and as for the term "neo-con", understand that when Liberals use that term, they are also criticizing the majority of Americans...We are a "Center-Right" nation...Beck is more like our Founding Fathers then any other "talking head" on TV or radio...and trust me, the Founding Fathers would NOT be confused with being "neo-cons"...
@treez78 treez, do you even know what a "neo-con" even is? i think you've picked up that term from liberals who say that about him and they don't even know what that term means...Beck is far, far, FAR from being a "neo-con"...Please, look up the word...Please, research Beck...you'll see for yourself that Beck and what he believes and the policy that he wants and would support is FAR from being a "neo-con"...Beck is a Conservative-Libertarian...
"Conservative-Libertarian" sounds like a genuinely good thing to be... if it means mindfully conserving the freedom of everyone..
However, in the case of Beck it means conserving the freedom of the establishment to exploit the rest of us... in this case, the liberty to shit on your country so that they can make more money out of selling you Oil..
@suziecreamchease maybe you need to quit being such a paranoid nutcase....oh wait, i forgot...all those companies are e-e-e-e-evilll.....right? LOLOL...Take-off the tin-foil hat...it's alright...Beck is actually just a normal guy....not some robot....not some space alien...just a normal, everyday guy....he isn't going to benefit from oil going to $5-$10 (besides being right about it)...in fact, no one at Fox wants to see those types of prices (except for maybe the tree-hugging liberals)....
i just watched this show. wow what an assclown. now this guy is attacking unions for wanting the banking industry to pay for the financial collapse. FOX is the PR dept of big business.
if gas prices rise Beck will blame Obama. if Obama tries to regulate big Oil, then Beck will call him a socialist. this guy is a genius. he understands there are millions of idiots in america and he knows exactly how to appeal to them.
I pray God protect Glenn and his family, this man is exposing some very powerful evil core members of the illuminati. This web straight from satan is named every night on Glenn's show. Now while I don't always agree with him I do respect his effort to education the people about the truth.
I only wish they would open up about other truths... like project disclosure and the great deception coming.
Thanks for finding a way to post these every night. It means so much to us. GOD BLESS YOU!
@treez78 I normally don't comment on videos because some of these people make my head explode so I don't read the comments..but that's what they do because they can't prove Glenn wrong and it gets them all pissed off so they just start calling him names and making fun of him..so you'll see a lot of these types of comments. It just makes them feel better to say these kinds of things, because deep down they know they can't prove him wrong and it hurts them.
the only idiots on here are the people that think Beck is journalistically fair or mentally balanced. you want to know your audience man, look at "BlessedONE333returnz." that is your demographic. that is your base. congratulations, you are a leader of fools, and in politics, that makes you incredibly powerful. kudos to you for your life's work.
@TheDailyBeck right now we need to fix this problem before we can go back to drill baby drill. but here is what I want. by 2030 i want to see that the dependency on oil is below 50% of our energy and by the time I die I want it at 0%. PS I hope he is wrong to.
Oh and PSS, today he was the only dingbat with a fox news tv show and/or radio show that never once said that this was an Obama conspiracy. give him a big round of applause.
did you miss the part where he hinted that it was possible that Obama would use the disaster to shut down offshore drilling, and then proceeded to scare his lemmings with the promise of $10 a gallon gas prices. this is classic propaganda. reminds me of the rise of the nazi party in germany. the only differences is instead of blaming the jews for everything, he blames liberals, Obama and anyone who uses their ability to think logically.
alaskan oil reserves downgraded by 90%,,,,,,,,, Look it up you idiots that listen to this guy

Nothing special.
velcroboy60000 1 year ago
@velcroboy60000 a government source. Hmm, how trustworthy is that? Well, the government said healthcare was for our benefit, yet members of congress dont even want it. The government also had to make up districts in states and exaggerate numbers when showing us what jobs were "created" during the stimulus package. Btw, that stimulus package that "saved" us from a great depression, only 1/3 spent. Until that red phone rings, I think I'll take Beck's word over Obama's

HoosierMP 1 year ago

I don't know why people fall for it.
kolomgorov 1 year ago

Glenn is not affected by the oil spill so , naturally, he sees it as a tool in his bag he can use . Sounds like a natural gasbag to me.

HoosierMP 1 year ago
@treez78 treez, do you even know what a "neo-con" even is? i think you've picked up that term from liberals who say that about him and they don't even know what that term means...Beck is far, far, FAR from being a "neo-con"...Please, look up the word...Please, research Beck...you'll see for yourself that Beck and what he believes and the policy that he wants and would support is FAR from being a "neo-con"...Beck is a Conservative-Libertarian...
HoosierMP 1 year ago
@HoosierMP
Maybe you simply need to look at who owns Fox..
suziecreamchease 1 year ago
@suziecreamchease maybe you need to quit being such a paranoid nutcase....oh wait, i forgot...all those companies are e-e-e-e-evilll.....right? LOLOL...Take-off the tin-foil hat...it's alright...Beck is actually just a normal guy....not some robot....not some space alien...just a normal, everyday guy....he isn't going to benefit from oil going to $5-$10 (besides being right about it)...in fact, no one at Fox wants to see those types of prices (except for maybe the tree-hugging liberals)....
HoosierMP 1 year ago
i just watched this show. wow what an assclown. now this guy is attacking unions for wanting the banking industry to pay for the financial collapse.

@jkingmarioman64
did you miss the part where he hinted that it was possible that Obama would use the disaster to shut down offshore drilling, and then proceeded to scare his lemmings with the promise of $10 a gallon gas prices. this is classic propaganda. reminds me of the rise of the nazi party in germany. the only differences is instead of blaming the jews for everything, he blames liberals, Obama and anyone who uses their ability to think logically.
