Fritz. installed a new coil with a TXV already installed and a new condensor. The ntro holds so no leaks. But it will not pull the vacuum. I get a steady 1950 microns on the low side and 1350 on the high. The gauge works great. When I valve off the system, the pump pulls 325 microns on itself easily. Do I need to heat thesensor bulb? What could be my problem?
How long and how much Nitro , did you bubble test too ?
How long to pull to 1350 ?
I didn't pull schraders on my last one it took me awile to hit 350 over a hour , once I hit blocked off it will rise , American Standard says long as I don't pass 500 in 1 minute we are good !!!
Just wondering, When you started loosening the line, it obviously let out the refrigerant. But I am curious, did you drain the system before that, or did u drain the old stuff and that was just a little bit of refrigerant left in the system?
@fritzhvac haha hey no problem. I only came across this video because I went to school and got my Gas fitter 2. I want to be a heating and air conditioning tech! I actually start tomorrow at a company and I'm soo excited! I almost got into union gas as a turbine operator but after the second interview they found someone more suitable for the position. oh well! I start tomorrow!
@Nutintoitbut2doit Thank You Sir , I can't believe how the house feels , its a tri-level , and never really got cool up here on 2nd floor , you actually had to use a blanket last nite , I had her down to 65 last nite BURRR !!! ROFL ... She is actually cycling now !!!
I love it , hell I can play cards , and rest cold beer on mine , with room for a snack tray !!! LOL ...
@fritzhvac Ha Ha, I know what you mean brother lol.
Hay your house is the best place to try out new things, like tools, systems, t-stats, and so on, when a vendor gives me something new I try it at home before I try to sell.
I love my TESTOS , and Milwaukee PVC looper (just made the job so much faster and cleaner), I want to get that Makita impact I see the fellas packin on here !!!
@fritzhvac Ya Makita is good too, it's made by Milwaukee, I use the Milwaukee impact 12 volt, It's a good little tool and it uses the same battery, also they have a little sawsaw, and I got a car charger with a extra battery. I have Dewalt hamerdrill and impact that works very well for the bigger stuff.
@Nutintoitbut2doit Wow I did not know that was part of Miwaukee brand , yea one of the biggest reasons I wanted to go that way was because of batteries , my craftsmans are about gone !!! I like the car charger drill option !!!
Dewalt is the shit too , had a 18 volt hammer drill years back that got GONE out on a commercial job !!!
This is great news!!That crazy to see the high side are almost identical from both videos the only thing that change was the txv feeding refrigerant . Nice VIdeo!! Your on the next level!!!!
@PutSome5tankOnIt I really didn't think about it till I dropped the last screw !!! LOL ...
But it was always in the back of my head , 3 days worth of gutten closet and floor, to make momma a shower , made me think to take a little peak , shit brother I think I got dust to 2nd floor !!! rofl ...
lets cross our fingers thats the problem.....hahaha

It's got the delta p function...with temperature adjustment....if you've got a temp probe... you could probably use a pipe clamp for that.
