Nice, I like it...sort of hoakey, but in a good, nostalgic way, it doesn't need to be flashy or have tons of noise and stylized action.

It's simplicity is it's brilliance...just like hockey itself.

After all, it doesn't matter if you're Canadian or Swedish or Russian or, like me, American, you WILL understand this.

If Soviet Union is regarded, there was much less poverty and unemployment than in any capitalist country. That's a fact. It was the system. Almost everybody had a job but earned little money. It still was enoungh for a life without any luxury. On the other hand there were no personal freedoms at all.

By the 1960s, Soyuzmultfilm was deliberately moving away from the Disney-like animation style that had characterized its films from the 1930s. Dyozhkin was one of the last holdouts, and he managed to keep making his films because they were very popular with the public. Part 1 of "Weightless Life" (which can be found on Google Video) tells about this.

Кстати, чётко просматривается кто в этом мультике наши а кто Канадцы:) На заре советского хоккея наши начинали играть в сингем, а не в знаменитом красном. Меня порадовала сценка когда иностранцы вылезают из автобуса:)У них даже приёмник транзисторный оказался:)
