A unit showed up in Balad last year with Kiowas and finally pretty much put an end to the rocket and mortar attacks we were getting, wish I knew the unit they were with. Knocked out a few of the heavy machine guns that were harassing the Hawks too. God bless the Kiowa and the crews...

The combination of Bradleys, Abrams and Kiowas was one of the greatest things the Army ever came up with. I miss the good old days of Div Cav. Garryowen, Seventh First!

when people think of army air they useually think of the 64, or the 47 and almost never of the 58 !

Kiowa pilot's are some of the cockeist, stuburn, crazeist, out of this world pilot's you might ever meet ! Aint none better .

You kids better be taking care of my Helicopters, I was one of the MTP's in D Troop when we picked them up.

We took care of them, but the unit disbanded in July 05 and the ACFT went to other units.
