I just found your channel...Your transformation is amazing... I hope that you are cancer free now...I dont have thyroid cancer...But I had radioactive iodine for my thyroid...Now I'm hypothyroid...i'm 400 lbs and am thinking of surgery to lose weight
did your doctor recommend surgery or did you decide it on your own?
I had 2 doctors that were FOR the surgery, and one against. One thought that it wouldn't make a difference. I will say that while I did lose the 100 pounds, mine didn't seem to come off as fast as some of the others. I have no regrets, and I don't think my success would have been as productive without the WLS.
Did you experience any unusual side effects from the RAI? Like not being able to walk for 2 years? Fibromyalgia, joint pain etc? I really had a hard time with that stuff. Many don't experience any problems with taking it. It is very odd really. Do you think your weightgain comes from being hypo? I think it has a lot to do with it for me. Peace and best wishes!
