This idiot keeps bragging about how impotant it is to listen to the people actually going to be affected by reform, here dimmissing a genuine concern just because he disagrees.
While on other occassions shines the lime light on hacks whinning about death panels, which everyone accepts as bs from sarah palin
Whats amazing is this meeting was held at a HBCU and correct me if I am wrong but it was a WHITE WOMAN that stood up and challenged him. WOW!! Wow my people sat there like deer in a headlights and let a Republican flunky that was an advocate of "ALLCHildren Left Behind" talk negatively about the Presidents Health Plan. Well HELLO Americans, that call this A SOCIALIST AGENDA, where do you think we get SOCIAL SECURITY AND LABOR DAY. There is no pure Democracy and NEOS are just full of it!!!

They'll complain about how bad Obama'a plan is, but still claim people need affordable health care, but at the same time they make no propositions about fixing it. Fucking hypocrites. From what i understand he screened all the questions before hand and booted out the ones that were challenging.
I'm still perplexed as to how the Republican party could choose a man like Michael Steele to lead the GOP. He's inredibly clueless. He can't even keep the party in line or under control. He's let the party deteriorate further, its now at an all time low with people like Glenn Beck, Limbaugh, and Palin literally running the party. Also, what amazes me is how these idiot college students are clapping for this moron, even though these kids all probably voted for Obama. Bunch of Hypocrites.
Duzak, a 23 year old Towson University grad, stood up, against the rules and out of turn:
"My MOTHER DIED OF CANCER 6 months ago because she could only afford three of her six prescription chemotherapy medications. There are 50 million people in this country who could end up like my mom, suffering or dying because they do not have adequate health care. Everyone in this room and everyone in this country should have access to good health care."
Then Steele gives a lecture as we should have an honest and mature discussion regarding these issues. Then he continues:
"People are coming to these town meetings and they're like [he then shakes]." He then looked and gestured right at Ms. Duzak and said, "It makes for great TV. You'll probably make it tonight, enjoy it."
What an asshole! So not only he didn't condemns the same tactics the GOP is employing, but insulted this young woman, accusing her for being an attention seeker.
ok, that is what i thought he said. if i went to a town hall meeting and the senator was republican id be asking how come he didnt turn down his socialist healthcare that we, the citizens, are paying for. that is the real question that the republicans should be asked.
Repubs and Blue Dogs don't care about helping people. They could hear stories of loss and pain all day - then turn around and justify 18,000 deaths/year from lack of comprehensive health insurance.
