You have good points but you're mislead and make some assumptions that are not true. Just because a corporation/business has transparency in their financial actions, this checks and balances thing you refer to. If this was even legal to do. if it was, this does not automatically result in fair distribution of wealth.
I believe it's the owners choice what to pay the people that work for his business. It's his decision to give himself $200 million a year and minimum wage to workers. Is that right, no, is it smart, no, is it the owners choice, yes. What will happen? People may quit, his business may fail, therefore no $200 million a year. HS kids are looking for honest principled leaders to follow. The only people they perceive as leaders are entertainers (actors, musicians, professional athletes, etc.) because these people are what our society teaches us to emulate to accomplish our illogical goal in life, to be rich and famous. In order to get kids to care, they need to find someone who cares and is honest about it. If you can explain it to them where it's easy to understand, and your everyday actions serve...
as an example, they will probably want to get involved in improving their communities for everyone and future generations. Let's become that honest leader with high moral standards we would like to follow in order to give kids a positive role model to look up to. If adults don't show they care, why should kids care?
But I think there are kids who want to do something, they just don't have the means and support to get more people involved in their respective communities.

Oh & by the way I love the music & the text, even though there are some grammatical errors :) But most people will not take the time to read it, they want it read to them :) Some learn by seeing, others by reading & still others by doing. Our monetary system is out dated and incompatible with sustainability, efficiency and abundance. It is not a system designed to serve the wellbeing of the people. We have to restraint our government officials from corruption. Would you take advantage of a situation if no one knew you were taking advantage of them? Its not society making people think money is everything, it's the government and the federal reserve bank.
Thats why the federal reserve bank is so powerful because they make then money. The bank exchanges money to the government for bonds.
Its all just effed up from there, especially when people live above their means because they have to take out loans, and every dollar given from the bank has a debt directly attached to it, making it impossible to pay back.

Both the text and the background music in this video were very inspiring. If we would all simply live by the Golden Rule and with respect for our Earth, how could we not live in peace? We really do need to get back in touch with our spiritual sides and quit fighting over petty stuff. We can only sleep in one bed at a time, which begs the question... how much do we really need in the material sense? everyone does that about any choice or event that has come to pass, what would have happened if i asked her out, what if i would've gotten the soup. The reason i'd rather die in the field instead of by my family is because all i'd get is pity, i hate pity. At least on the field i might do something worth while before i die. No i'm not a soldier, at least not yet anyways

I felt the same way. Now I'm a disabled Vet. And that fucking sucks 100xs more. I often wonder if I'm better off dead. And now, all I want to do is expose and make a change in this corrupted nonsense. 2012 will be a change, of what, who knows, but times, they are a changing. In our civilized society millions of children go to sleep hungry, yet restaurants over producing foods throw the food away. In addition, our health is one of the biggest business wealthy greedy people profit from. Wealthy greedy people just want more money and power, no matter how they get it. When this is allowed to happen, all intellectual individuals, members of the civilized society, are part of the problem.

It makes me glad that I don't have cable tv. 200 channels and nothing on but "Buy this!" "OMG Celebs!!" "He said this, She did that." It was to the point where It's was melting my brain. two years without TV now. It's Awesome. Television is entertainment, and people somehow mistake it for news that matters. The greed in this world makes me sick. The 3 riches people have the same amount of money as the 48 poorest nations. Bill Hicks was bang on with this closing acts.
