To the people saying hes cheating, it is possible but not likely. When this game first came out I was like 13, me and a friend got very competitive and took turns trying to one up each other in this game getting the fastest knockouts.

The secret is doing what this guy did, memorize their patterns and never wait for them to hit you.

My friend eventually beat Gabby Jay in like 3.75 seconds, was ridiculous and it didn't happen every match.

The quickest we got rick and nick was 10-15 sec tho

You have to wait for him to point to his stomach. The guy playing this punches him at the soonest possible moment, so you don't see him point to his stomach, but he just barely starts pointing before getting punched.

The most impressive thing to me is the knowledge of every hit sequence combined with perfect timing. Both are needed to reach the initial "Dizzy" animation and get the early knock down. Its pretty much game over after that. If anyone thinks that a submission of this caliber is easy then they should try it. I can assure them even though this is a TAS run it still takes quite a bit of knowledge and ability to pull off times like these.

lol yes I would agree...even though this is a speedrun done on an emulator I almost think its more difficult to get these times playing on a keyboard than it is on a snes controller. I've gotten these same times for almost all of the boxers (still can't get the timing right for bald bull) and I can honestly say that I think its harder to do on the computer than on the actual console. Makes me want to beat super punch out in record timing AGAIN even thoguh I havent done it in like a year or so.

lol just because he uses programs doesn't mean this is easy...it takes perfect timing of both regular and super punches to do what is shown because if it isn't perfectly timed and at the right moment, the boxers hit you and screw up your whole game...so even though he makes it look easy I can assure you that it took me years of practice to make the same kinds of record breaking times that he does...I used to get killed by nick bruiser in one hit and now I kill him in less than 10 seconds =) =)
