Good job Frank. First IAIA all ethanol train that I have seen. Yeah, that diamond is real noisy.

how busy is the train traffic there. I guess that it is very busy there. Just wondering.

Depends which line you are talking about. There is a 2 track main BNSF, a CN, a UP and the old Rock Island line that you see this train on, The old RI sees about 15 Metras A day and usually 3 freight trains. BNSF is very busy with mostly intermodal. 10 Amtrak trains a day come on the CN and UP a day. The UP sees long coal trains interchanging with the EJ&E and the CN sees local traffic. what time does the "ethanol" train come through Joliet?

This train is named the CBBI. (Council Bluffs Blue Island). It is usually a manifest but sometimes they pull unit ethanol trains. This train came in at about 12:30PM. There is also another train that comes through called the BICB. (Blue Island Council Bluffs)
