  • Is it just me, or does she really resemble Marcia Brady? Gorgeous singing voice!

  • Good work!

  • I sang this in chorus and she is good but were awesome

  • I have to sing this in chorus!!! This has helped me with the pronunciation:P

  • @imgonnaeatyou222 You should listen to Peter Schreier's version than. It's also somewhere here on YouTube. She has a very nice voice, but her "sch" and "ö" are a little too "light". Actually, that's no good pronunciation. It only can seem good to the non-German users.

  • i have to sing this for my vocal production class for school! you sing it great!

  • wowowowowow.

  • Wonderful rendition, thank you very much for your singing, great talent!!!

  • Škoda,že nerozumím německy,je to moc krásná písnička ....česky jsme ji slyšela ve filmu:Hodina tance a lásky.....pěkné díky ♥♥♥

  • Do you have the notes of the piano?

  • This is in Williamson at Westminster Choir College! YAY WCC

  • schusterlehrling @ Spätaufsteher oder macht das lesen soviel Mühe?

Hören Sie sich leber Jay Khan an - paßt besser zu Ihrem Niveau !

  • Ugh the only thing I don't like is the tempo because it goes faster then slower then back to faster :b

I'm actually using this as a practice because I chose this as my solo.

It's my same key and everything.

  • You sound amazing, and I love your facial expressions :)

  • its really good! im from germany and your pronunciation is almost always right, great job!

  • that was georgeous!!!! im singing this as a solo for my music festival this year, but in a much lower key.

  • I loved this. She's gorgeous too.

  • You need to take lessons for how many years to be able to sing like this ?

  • what key is this? =)

  • we are singing this in choir. u are amazing

  • such clear vioce!

  • That was an excellent performance.

  • ehh the pronunciation is a little butchered with morgen, sehen, roselein. but not bad

  • ♪ 童は見たり 野中のバラ

    Roberto.

  • great mezzosopran !!!!!!!!

the best röselein i ever heard !!!!!!!!!!

  • I sang this for district competition in Highschool (95) she does a beautiful job!

  • best performance i ever heard of this piece!!

  • gorgeous voice

  • also 'z' sounds like English 'z'.

  • This is false, the only word with a 'z' in this poem is 'zu' at the beginning 'Lief er schnell, es nah zu seh'n, and it's pronounced as the correct 'ts/tz'.

  • @lansinglambert The pronounciation is perfect. In Germany, we have many accents. Her accent is very good and acceptable.

  • good voice. Is she german? i think her pronunciation is not like native german.

  • @mengyl She seems to be icelandic. But her pronunciation is quite ok for german ears. But I wonder what she's doing now, no new recordings since April 2008?

  • @ajoachim01

Thanks. I think her ö sounds like ü. such as röslein, morgenschön. Do you think so?

  • @lansinglambert No, her ö is perfect.

  • @ajoachim01

My language has ö and ü too, but her ö sounds like ü to me. Of course that doesn't mean it is true for German. Maybe in German ö and ü are closer than in my language.

  • @mengyl

    Her prononciation is quite good.

Can't tell if she is a native speaker.

Just have to say say she is a very good singer.

    Da Capo.

  • I love your voice.

  • Bravo. Who are you!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is beautiful :)

  • Absolutely gorgeous voice

    & a face to match ;)

  • Great!

  • The melody is from Schubert.

The lyrics are a very, very, very famous poem by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

This one is very good, but look out for the Helen Schneider Version from 1978.

  • sehr schön gesungen!!!

  • sehr schön

  • GREAT!

  • QUE LINDA VOZ, FELICITACIONES!!!

  • Sehr schön gesungen. Beautifully sung!

  • schön erarbeitet und klasse interpretiert - das stimmt alles.

    Kompliment!

  • You made me smile! :-)

Twice! Your voice is so beautiful and...

    By the way...

Your articulation of the words is amazingly correct, too. I can tell as a german native speaker.

  • unbelievable voice... just amazing...can't find words for this...awesome!

  • Very nice. What a pleasure

  • My classmate didn´t believe that this poem is about a rape :(

It was the topic in our german lessons -

    it´s a brilliant work. ♥ goethe

    and by the way ....

    AMAZING VOICE!!!

  • Your voice is wonderful, very relaxing for some reason. Man, does that sound creepy. sorry. :)

  • you have the loveliest voice ever! and your a great performer too. :)

  • beautiful voice♪

  • Beuno !!

  • Aiiiiiiiii q linda você cantandooo!!!

    Parabéns!!!!

    \o/

  • wow your pronunciation is so much better than everyone else's. your really good. i have to sing this for my exams tomorrow. ur an inspiration.

  • same i have to do it for an exam :S i just forget it all :s

  • haha, i have to do this for an exam too XP. I hope you passed ^^.

  • @flogorian Eine laute Stimme macht noch keinen brillanten Vortrag., die musikalität bleibt auf der Strecke.

Sotto voce hätte mir besser gefallen! Die Tempobezeichnung die Schubert vorgegeben hat, wo blieb die ?

  • Das musst Du wohl eher den Pianisten fragen als die Sängerin.

Aber wenn Dir die Musikalität fehlt, dann wirst Du leider einen so brillianten Vortrag nicht genießen können, was wirklich sehr schade ist.

  • She has my name o3o

    lol

    BEAUTIMUS VOICE!

  • I have a major, major crush on you!!

  • This songs translation:

    A boy so a rose on a hedge(heiden)

He told the rose that he would pick her and she would die

the rose said that if he did she would prick him with a thorn

    the boy picks the rose.

    i luv this song!!

    rose=Rooslein

  • Mjög smart!

Gaman að hlusta og horfa á þig syngja.

Verður áhugavert að fylgjast með þér!

  • Brava! Beautiful voice, and so expressive, so enjoyable to watch.

  • Williamson Hall?????

Very nice. Greetings to Disela and Teddy; and Sandra Shuett.

  • Hey, I know that room...

  • Oh my gosh.... That was so unbelievably amazing! You really interpreted it well, and your pronunciation was done beautifully! I was looking for a decent video of this song to help me get a good idea with pronunciation, and you definitely had that covered. Not only was the pronunciation good, but I actually enjoyed listening to you as well. This is the first time I've found a COMPLETELY enjoyable performance on youtube. Nice Job! I plan to listen a few more times :-)

  • Wonderful and great!

  • VERY wonderful. i loved this. the best i've seen on youtube. you are really INTERPRETING the music and the text and getting a nice line and placement in the process.

  • Very good =) Just make sure u say 'zehn' instead of 'zeen' but ur voice is amazing nontheless.

  • I really like your voice - vibrato doesn't sound out of control like some sopranos when singing this song. Wonderful expression - you look really involved :) If you put on a concert I would come and watch - I love how you tell the story with your face and show your personality while you're singing. Best recording of this song I've heard so far!

  • Great job! I really enjoyed it. Schubert would be proud. :D

  • I really liked your interpretation. One of the better ones I've heard. And you have a beautiful voice : )
