I love how she's being kept out the media spotlight by Cher Lloyd, people will love Mary Byrne for being as good as SuBo but overhyped much less.

@mudya1 I think what he meant was that in terms of pop music and what sells nowadays ends to be "young" and "fresh"... Meaning what people perceive to be new, despite its origins. Cher is not trash and I find that awfully snarky. She is actually quite talented and has a great voice, as "Stay" has now shown. It's just a personal preference. I think they're both incredibly talented, as is this entire season and it will be ridiculously difficult to choose as the numbers whittle down.

It's hard w/these shows b/c everyone wants them to be "original" yet they have to cover well known songs.... it's a catch-22.
